  1. Some pseudo classic/retro cars and trucks. in the same line as the RV, and the Cargo Containers. they would be awesome for Call of Cthulhu games set in the past. They could come ether by themselves or in a box set with a Pickup, Station wagon, Muscle Car, Van, maybe an 18 wheeler. I personally don't care if they are solid or come on Sprues, but having a few non branded cars in scale with Reapers 28mm minis that don't take an entire day to just assemble would be awesome.

I've written it in here before, but I'd like to see a Feywild expansion or encounter set. Multiples of the small fey like Pixies, Darklings or Redcaps for encounter building would be great.

But just in general, the imagination and character brought to many of the newer Bones sets would make for amazing seelie/unseelie court Fae and related creatures.

I would love to see some of the Characters and Fairies written about by George MacDonald made into Minis.

  3. So this is my idea for Bones VI

    "The Dark Forest"

A set of Modular and monolithic trees, that can be used for the majority of campaigns. It would consist of a few smaller trees that can be used as regular scatter terrain on like 2"-3" bases, these could be made to allow the clusters of leaves to be removed. Some larger Landmark trees 3"-4", think the Tree of Despair, small tree houses, nests, hollows, and maybe a fairy town. Then a few large multi part trees that have parts that can be swapped out, such as an elven houses, shrines, wizard towers, or maybe even a nest for a Roc.

  4. So I know this Idea will probably never be looked at by Reaper, but I think its worth Discussing.

  5. You really don't see any buildings for halflings and gnomes. I think a few small halfling houses, an inn/tavern, and some market stalls would be a fun addition. plus they would be physically smaller because why would a halfling/gnome house have a doorway taller than four feet?

If you keep that style it will be worn/older houses.

    So poor farmers and villagers.

A village where something happened and left the remaining population in poverty and hardship?

Maybe an adventurer's party would be able to lift the curse/defeat the monster/find a cure for the plague...whatever causes this?

I like that i can use the house without the legs and have an old run down house. But i would love some buildings in the same style but well kept up. Like a small tavern, or a guardshack.

  7. I recently got a few packs of the new Pizza Dungeon Dice. I have my own opinions but i would like to know what everyone thinks of them?

I understand that these are basically beta test Dice and not indicative of the Quality of the dice once they are for sale.

The two packs I got roll well no noticeable bias in their random number generation after one game of 5e, I will be doing a one hundred roll average test to see how they do. The paint in the numbers is iffy though, but we are all miniature painters here so fixing that will be easy.

I will definitely be playing these dice for a long time, and really want to see what the pricing will be. I like the plastic cases the dice come in and I will reuse them for something. Though I kinda think a mini cardboard pizza box would be amazing, but that would probably be to expensive to have made

Can't speak for everyone but I would definitely be down for a set of more expensive Supreme Pizza Dungeon Metal Dice and packs of single types of dice, like a pack of 7d4 for my wizard.

It depends. If I'm working on a piece for competition, then I'd paint each individual feather, adding individual stripes for striations. If I'm just doing for tabletop, or even high tabletop then drybrushing is my friend.

I like to have a sliding scale of detail I do on Mini's. Trash mobs, and packs I do really quickly. High level mobs I spend an evening or two working on. Then my Boss Mobs I will do as close to competition quality as I can manage.

  9. Hi all,

I'm working on finishing up filling and priming my Grimtalon mini. I have been poring over reference pictures of eagles and raptors. I have done a few tests and i'm not liking my results, and I am relay curious how ya'll have painted feathers.

    Thanks for the advice,

    Niles
