  1. I really like it. I removed the shoulder spikes from mine but I like them in the copper color. Very nice.
  2. I ordered a set and the dice look nice. I'm planning to playtest them Friday night. My only complaint is the stickers weren't really attached very well. The top one was off-center and the bottom one wasn't really stuck in place. I ended up taking them both off. I like the container and the mini though.
  3. I like it a lot. Very cool.
  4. They look good. Ready for action!
  5. Quick photo of an Orc I painted over the weekend.
  6. I agree. I love the deep red on the armor.
  7. Orc Marauder, Grunt, Slayer, Slicer, Stalker, and Sniper ready for the table. Orcs don't care bout no social distancing!
  8. I had a similar problem with the Griffin from Kickstarter 4. I had to reinforce the leg with pins to get it hold the weight of the body and big wings.
  9. I can't seem to access the articles "A Beginning Mini Painter's Shopping List" Part 1 or Part 2 in the new Craft section of the Reaper website. Just me or have they not been posted yet?
  10. My model is currently residing in the project bin. I'll probably take a crack and repositioning the arm once I get better with using green stuff.
  11. Reaper Bones Bugbear Warrior saved from the hobby shop junk bin and ready for the table. He'll see action next week in the Village of Hommlet moathouse dungeon. BTW, this is the second mini I've painted since I got back into the hobby after a long hiatus (35 years).
  12. I think adding the scale was what I needed. Thanks!
  13. Not sure if this is the right place for this question but I'm looking for some loose shields. I'm building a scenic piece and I'd love to have some painted shields on the wall. Just looking for basic round, kite, and/or heater shields. Any recommendations?
  14. First mini I've painted since 1985. Psyched to be back in the hobby.
  15. I had some similar problems with the pre-assembled parts on the Moor Troll and Frost Giant Heroine I just received. The Moor Troll had a huge gap around the neck and the Frost Giant cloak was attached out of position and caused the left arm not to fit in the socket. I fixed the Troll with some putty but the Frost Giant required some surgery to get her arm to fit.
  16. I believe in 5E, Enlarge only doubles the size of the target. But it would still be cool.
  17. It would be cool to use that mini as a "enlarged" Dwarf.
  18. Here's a pic of the two new Frost Giants (Heroine and Ranger with Winter Wolf) and the older Warrior and Bodyguard. I added the standard "for scale" mini as well. Based on the art and some of the items they are carrying, I expected them to be a bit bigger. The caribou (I'm guessing from the antlers) attached to the Ranger's back is mighty small. Don't get me wrong. I really like them both. Just not quite what I was expecting.
  19. It was the toughest mini to assemble I've run across. Even when the arm was in the right place, it didn't look right. However, I will say that while I wasn't happy with the mini, Reaper was super helpful with assisting me on the assembly. They even took a picture to help me out so kudos for that. Thankfully, I ended up getting the Overlord Cavalry mini at the same time and used that in my game instead. Afterwards, I tweaked the position of the lance and now I'm really happy with it.
  20. Thanks. I picked up a copy of the Concept Art book and picked up the minis based on the drawings. Thanks for the info.
  21. Does anyone know who the sculptor was for the Kickstarter 4 Elves? Just curious.
  22. I'm pretty excited about this month's releases. The trolls and especially the two Frost Giants look pretty cool.
