  1. a RAFM Syreen. you might be able to sell that on ebay as RAFM hasn't made DP9 minis in a long time.

i like the paint job a lot, except for the "alien" squiggle-thingy.

the syreen looks odd because it's a hastily redesigned Orbital Transfer Vehicle. jovian chronicles can best be described as mobile suit gundam without the psychic abilities.

it's (the syreen) also 17.2 meters tall, 17.5 meters wide and has a loaded weight of 52 tons. i don't remember what scale the RAFM jovian chronicles minis were.

  2. i like ramen, i don't drain it, but i don't use as much water as i should. (i buy the packets not the cups, they're cheaper.)

i also tend to add a can of some sort of veggies (usually corn ) and a can of meat to it as well.

i also only eat it when money's tight, cause that stretches out the "real" food to last longer.

  3. The upcoming ground combat game, "war without end" is going to use 10mm figures (the old Gropos figures from AOG) and uses a modified set of rules from A Call to Arms.

You can find some character specific models if you look around on Ebay - a british mini company made some and they occasionally show up.

Harlequin.....but i'm probably not spelling it right.

  4. I will probably play CAV1 until CAV2 comes out in print ::):

You do realize that CAV2 is coming out Soon™, right?

(sorry, I couldn't resist. Usually It's Qwyksilver's job to do stuff like that)...

You do realize that this is Reaper Games and as a result you may not see the book in print for quite a while

    See, you're new here.

go back and re-read some of the old posts. My reply simply oozes irony... ::D:

  5. it won't really handle naval stuff, except for the small stuff.

mj12 games "Defiance:Vital Ground" is a skirmish game for WWII to sci-fi (but not way out there sci-fi).

you can download the rules and 4 sample armies from their website, but to get the force creation rules you have to buy the rules. but you can actually try the rules to see if you like how they play without spending any money on them.

  6. GW's eldar avatar is an ogre sized elf.

there's also Excelsior Entertainment's "Chronopia" line of elves.

EDIT: but the only ogre sized elf from Chronopia turned out to be "the adamantite golem". which has a big hammer and heavier armor than the picture you have.

    it's part number is EXE-50516.

  8. i assumed the "tacked in at the appropriate places" since the LOTR movies were mentioned.

i would recommend just waiting for the us release, unless you absolutely, positively must have everything serenity/firefly

  9. There's a version with added footage?!?

The one I got was the same as the one in theaters, with deleted scenes in the special features. I shall have to search out this other version and sell the current one.

no, there's not an "added" footage version.

edit: i was wrong, but it's not region 1

EDIT #2: THIS IS NOT AN "ADDED FOOTAGE" VERSION IN THE SENSE OF THE LOTR EXTENDED VERSIONS..(<<<NOT SHOUTING<<<NOT SHOUTING<<<).

  10. I could never get over the copious hinting of Man-love in the anime.

You're watching the wrong Gundams. Try 0083 (with Mr. Monsha) or 08th MS Team.

is he talking about gundam wing ??

'cause i couldn't finish the movie (endless waltz ??) even though it was a free on-demand thing.

  11. Yeeessssss !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I agree 20,000 % with Evilbob.

cheesecake battlenuns like the dark heaven ones.

because if their opponents get distracted by the bouncy goodness they deserve to be smited. ::P:::P:

 and i like cheesecake

  12. I would love to see this class realized mini style, I know that I could just take a cool paladin and slap a tiny dragon on his shoulder or near his feet but I feel Reaper could really play with the class, make it awesome. It is one of the few classes that I fell in love with the visual of in the Draconomicon, it's very well portrayed. Well, anyways, just something I would love to see, and I'm sure there's plenty of people that would agree.

    uuummmmm.........what class ????

or did I just not see it ??
