Exactly! It integrates so well into the piece to make it look like it is coming alive.

Very good point. I am pledging for a slightly higher proportion of the total models than in Bones 4 and 5 but my pledge total is lower. As far as the models go this looks like their best Kickstarter yet. More varied styles, improving use of the various Bones materials, and more cohesive themes all have me excited, but there is a limit to how many doubles I want. Even though it looks like this will be the smallest Bones campaign it still matches any of the others for me.

I think this is the kind of model a lot of people were asking for. The pose is fun and dynamic and it will add good energy to any scene or tabletop. I'm pledging for this and hope we'll see more like it.

I ask for Sir Forscale every time. Seeing him in every picture and not getting him is too much for my goblin brain. He's as iconic as Sophie at this point. Thankfully I've invested in a metal one, but I could use a few more to pepper throughout the collection. I'm very excited about the hundreds of other models I'll be backing though.

Rangers of Shadow Deep - Ranger and Companions

Wonderful textures on the dog and fabrics. I want to pet that mastiff. -
Definitely not a Jem'Hadar soldier. Impressive and inspiring paint job like everything you post here. You make quotidian outfits striking without overstating them. Thanks for sharing.

I have a lot of favorite models and this is one of them. He is righteous and glorious. Where did I put my Gate scroll?

It's a neat effect. I am keeping my magical weapons far away. How many rounds to doff armor?

A distinguished paint job for something that usually appears in mobs and is dispatched quickly. I second the compliment on the shield, and the lighting on everything works just right. I've never wanted to get to know a skeleton before.

Hikikomori replied to ladystorm's topic in Kickstarter
I thought this one would be the biggest Bones yet. I think Reaper offered enough models and value to get there, but maybe the timing or promotion was off. For periods they can't keep up like the first and last days I think they should be earlier and more prepared with the information that drives pledges like unlocks and graphics. I'm happy with what I ordered and saw and I'm impressed how much they juiced up the core set in the last 24 hours. I feel like everything that happened today should have been spread out starting from Reaper Live on Thursday night. I expect some hefty additions in the pledge manager. Congratulations Reaper on your campaign. -

You're right this has affected all the encounters. I didn't realise how cool the vampire ladies were until I saw them in this thread. The Kickstarter update doesn't do them justice, or most of the smaller figures in the encounters. -

I couldn't watch the stream. Has there been any word on the fan favorites? I expected goblin one-man band to go in there, but it's in the core set with a great backup group. Another patented Reaper tease? It's fine I'll have enough plastic either way. -
Smart lifestyle.

I have a clamp-on OttLite that I like quite a lot. This company is known for the color of the bulb which is suited to painting and taking pictures of the minis. It has a 5 diopter (1.75x) magnifier. The optical quality is really good for the price - not as big a factor at these scales but always relevant. It feels solid and has good adjustability. I do find myself leaning right onto the light at times which is probably a bad habit. The brand is popular/well-reviewed in quilting and cross-stitch circles. I didn't buy the cheaper no-name brand on Amazon and don't regret it. It would be okay if you went slightly higher in magnification but I think this is the most common choice. For clamp vs floor vs desk it depends on your painting setup. Clamp is most flexible but they all have roles.

Mossbeard might have been my top large model from Bones 4. What lively work you did on this piece. The base sets the scene and makes the model feel dynamic.

Johnny 5 (Custom scratch built/kit bash)

This was one of my favorite movies as a kid. Even if not exactly accurate it captures the homemade spirit completely. Impressive kitbash. -

The big version of that image is now available as a Kickstarter update as well. Some of the groupings are bigger than I expected (vs Bones 4). For example all or nothing on dragons when the reason I want a separate is the poses are so similar I only want one. I'm still on the fence about core set vs selected extras, but right now it's extras by a nose. It's close enough it could change in a couple of unlocks. -
I think I failed my save vs this handsome eyeboi's charm ray.

I hope they have a plan to at least 4 million.
