  1. Those are all fantastic! Love the dour skin tones.
  2. Crazy what folks will invent! Thanks Glitterwolf! It's back to the classics of horror! Yeah, and those moments of confusion could cost them their life!
  3. Hello all you Reaperhavians! So Tom Meier, when he was still running his own company, did a range of figures called Sparkle and Savage. His daughter inspired him to sculpt some figures (armed fairy ballerinas with unicorn mounts) and his son inspired him to sculpt other ones, like this one. Once you actually see the figure you'll see where the name comes from. a nice combination of the classics!
  4. Wow, those are some beautiful skin tones!
  5. Very nicely painted Jim Johnson figure!
  6. I’ve still got a few old Heritage minis lying around and painted a chunk of them years ago. The old classics are always fun but I love what Reaper has done with these updates versions!
  7. Yup, thousands and thousands and thousands. More miniatures than time in my life I’m fearing, PLUS a couple hundred new miniatures from Bones V. I’ve got a few of those selected to put in the queue, two especially on my mind: the satyr and faun from the Greek set!
  8. Very nicely done, beautiful skin tones and one of my favorites out of the Dungeon Dwellers box.
  9. Thank you Iridil, all the lining was actually sculpted into the model! Edit-Oops, sorry, I was thinking of the actual robe, all that detail, the little moons, jewels, and lines all came with the mini!
  10. Good morning Reaperniks! So I've had this mini painted already about a week, but here in Omaha, it's been mostly kind of cloudy and rainy, so wasn't able to get a decent picture until this morning. This is Merlyon the Sorcerer, formerly of Thunderbolt Mountain and now being released by Ral Partha Legacy. Pretty fun figure to paint, and it's more akin to that 25 mm of yore: I still have a few more from this range I want to get around to painting. This one also had the eyeholes poked into the eyes, but they worked out this time pretty simply. Eyeholes in the owl too! Anyhoos, please enjoy responsibly!
  11. Call me simple, but I just thought they’re in the air, so between them and the ground is sky, so I figured some sort of sky blue would be a pretty good color!
  12. Thanks Metalchaos, sorry it took so long to respond, just noticed your comment!
  13. Thanks, I really love these sculpts,I’d love to see Tom Meier do more of these some day! No idea what that is, but I’m going to say yes?
  14. If you choose to believe the US-centric concept that every law-abiding fairy has the right to defend herself, it ceases to be so disturbing.
  15. Thank you Glitterwolf! Eeks, valid point now that I look at it. I wonder if the jewel at the end of his wand, if I made it green or blue, would dispel that image that I can’t now get out of my head.
  16. Thanks Iridil, I dont' know if that's the actual paint or the way the picture came out on my cell phone. I'm going to try later to take different pictures with my normal camera.
