  1. I love the smooth gradient in the layering, and the freehand is great!
  2. Amazing! Love it! Still holding off on painting my first dragon. Totally chicken.
  3. Amazing work. Very impressive conversion, and the paint job is both subtle and striking.
  4. As a beginner painter, the concept of doing an army (or even just an army unit) feels both logical and like way too much work. Nevertheless, here it is, my first army unit! Read more about the process (and see a few more photos) over at Pocket-Sized Adventurers. Comments and thoughts are of course welcome! /Cpt Tweet
  5. Love the eyes! As others have stated, a bit of a dreamy look to them. Also love the cape. I still haven't figured out how to do smooth and visually effective blending, so seeing how you did the cape is educational :D Great stuff!
  6. I'm very handy with a knife. Or so I kept telling myself. Until I cut off Cassie's index finger while trying to remove a few mold lines. Now, I'm trying to pass that particular incident off as a modification, but I'm not sure anyone is really buying it. Least of all Cassie. Hi everyone! Long-time lurker, but this is my first post, with my fifth miniature. Newbie painter, started with Reaper's LTP kits. This particular mini is one of my favorites, but I may have taken on a bit more than I can chew (or fix... with my hobby knife). I found a lot of good examples of well-painted Cassie
