I love the spots!  I tried doing almost exactly this in snow-leopard colours not too far back and had no success, yours turned out way better!!

Funny thing is I did consider snow leopard but decided the fur on this figure wasn't fluffy enough

  2. Excellent job! The 2D bases are nicely done. I've been pondering painting my R&B minis but not sure as they see a lot of game time. I'd worry about paint flaking off, especially when taking the crew bases on and off, although I did come across this style of paint job that could save wear and tear and you an still make out what type of game piece it is as the lower half is still the character color. Also I have 8 crews and most of the extra heroes and mercenaries, way too much painting if you count all my other minis!

  3. Finally completed my pirate jester. He is only available with the pirate paint set from Wargames Foundry, which has a nice selection of vibrant colors. Came across the Malifaux base trying to find a nice wood plank base to simulate a ship's deck, thought this was kind of cool. It also allowed me to try out some rust techniques on the cannon and to try to do weathered wood. Used paint from the WF set and Reaper paints, specifically tried Reaper reds on the bows and jester staff as well as Reaper bone colors. Let me know what you think and any painting tips to improve my techniques are welcome as always. Enjoy!

Inquiry, the 22nd of September (Equinox):

Today the daylight hours will equal the night (Equi=equal; Nox=night). How much time per week do you spend on your mini/TTRPG hobby? Is hobbying usually done at night or during the day?

I prefer during the day; maybe 4-6 hours a week? In a dry spell now, can't seem to get motivated so painting's been minimal.
