Aw man! I was at reapercon and didn't think to check the boards that day! I do feel it was awful sweet of Reaper to throw me such a nice shindig and I really appreciated how many of you showed up.

Both. Sometimes it makes me giggle sometimes it makes me scream sometimes it saves me effort. I call it autocorrupt though.

This one (I shall dub him babypsycho) has quite the horde of miniatures and paints to choose from. I'm excited to see what he chooses first! I do have some superhero statues for him to paint. They're probably 8" tall and plastic so those might be his first.

I have confirmed that my wiggly wyrm is still in the house though the BOGW is not. Fortunately I work in the 'raising other people's children' field so I have some preparation for raising my own. Not the same I know but at least I know what to expect at certain ages. We are loving parenthood so far.

Recovery is slow. I still have doctors orders for minimal activity and having pre eclampsia issues but the baby is amazing and healthy and beautiful.

My box arrived 5/4, I was hospitalized the next day for a week and have been slowly recovering ever since. Box is heading out today after having been gone through and refreshed. So sorry for the delay!

Sigh-life got in the way. I got our box on the 4th of May, less than 24 hours before I was sent to the hospital for an emergency induction which turned into a C section and a week in the hospital due to complications. I am recovering and back home now, but needless to say I had some other priorities for a little while. The box at my house has been dug through, refreshed, and is headed back to the post office today.... I'm really sorry for the delay but I included some hard to find goodies in there so I hope I've made it worthwhile for its next recipient.

I can't count the number of times I've volunteered without thinking of the consequences. Whether that be volunteering at a con for an exhibitor AND to teach paint class (consequence, no time to see the con) or helping friends with a mystery project (consequence-sore, fatigue, bumps and bruises, seeing things best left to the individuals I was helping). Perhaps it's even been taking care of someone's kid so they can have a date night or go to an appointment (surprise! Kid is sick! And now you will be too for the next month!). I sometimes feel like no good deed goes unpunished. Yet I keep doing it anyway because....love? Masochist? Not really sure ;)

A GW wood elf archer-plastic. He came in a box with five buddies. I no longer have the buddies (I painted them all at the same time) but I do have one...I like to show him to folks who say they could never match my skill level. Side note-I had been helping my ex assemble GW vampire counts for a while but hadn't been allowed to paint them because he didn't believe I could do it. I really wanted to try but since he wasn't going to risk me destroying his figures I just went and bought some for myself. When I quickly surpassed his skill level he stopped painting.....

I like olive tapenade, avocado, and cheese.

If I notice yes. My phone likes to decide which word I actually wanted to type regardless of what I do type. This is something I find bothersome.

When I was a kid we had a local grocery chain called Byerly's. It was an upscale joint and their deli was great. Best of all were their au gratin potatoes. While Byerly's still exists they were bought by a competitor. The competitor discontinued the au gratins. I miss them....

Pregnancy means not participating in national beer day.....maybe I could have had a root beer though?

I avoid April fools at decent cost. Yesterday I had a scheduled flight out of London returning home to Seattle. I'm 32 weeks pregnant, I'd just spent a week on one of the hardest beds I've ever encountered, I was exhausted after all the walking (though I did have a wonderful time) and I was very much looking forward to returning to my own home and my menagerie. After 3 1/2 hours waiting on the Tarmac we were finally told the plane was broken and couldn't be fixed and were then put on busses, taken back through customs, told to retrieve our luggage, bussed to a hotel, and checked in for the night. Then we got back on busses this morning, checked back in, back through security, boarded again, and finally made it home to Seattle today. Not making it home when we were supposed to was not a good April Fool played on me by the world :(

Pure black is, quite simply, black. Nightmare black is more of an extremely dark blue. Aside from that they are not paints I own so I can't give you more answers.

If reapercon were the original dates this year I would unquestionably be unable to attend. With a baby due in 8 weeks the doctors say when I get back from the trip I'm currently on I'm all done traveling. When I got the positive test at the doctor back in September I was so excited. When I learned my due date I started begging my husband to go to con without me this year. He insisted he wouldn't if it was that close to my due date. I started crying. So yeah, we were thrilled it moved dates. Especially since the Wednesday prior is my birthday.

There was a hippy style Sophie drawn once that was beyond gorgeous. I've always wanted to see her well sculpted. Otherwise: Elizabethan Sophie Fairy Sophie would be excellent Angel Sophie I'm sure there are countless other types that would be most wonderful

I've been to every reapercon but the first and CLASS tickets have never been less than $20. I know they've started doing some seminar type deals that have a larger attendance pool and I don't know how they ticket those as I've not been, but the classes with a handful of students and an instructor have always been at least $20

I'm a mix of both. Our house is lived in but when the lived in clutter gets to be too much for me I organize well. I just have issues with starting a project, finishing for the moment (because I have to eat or sleep or go somewhere) and leaving the project out until I can finish it. Sometimes I finish it in a reasonable time period, other times I get distracted. When I get distracted our house becomes unlivable (to me) so I go on a cleaning/organizing binge and the cycle starts all over.
