  1. I'm not sure what company makes this mini. I no longer have the blister pack it came in. If anyone does, please feel free to comment on it. I did modify it: originally there was just a spear and I changed it to a halberd. Comments and suggestions welcome.
  2. A friend gave this to me for my birthday, and I jumped right on it. I knew I wanted to do cooling lava for its skin. Even thinking about using it as a boss' familiar in a game soon.
  3. Very clean. I like this. Great use of color and light.
  4. This is a character I am running; Landers Flamehair. Mage/Thief and a bit of a snob. I'm looking forward to playing him at NTRPG con in a few weeks. Comments welcome and appreciated.
  5. Another plastic mini. I tried to put in as much detail as I could on this one. It is actually a character in a game I am (was) running. Comments welcome and appreciated.
  6. This was a fun little one to paint. I'm having to get use to painting plastic, I must prefer metal. But, like I said. Fun.
  7. outstanding job! great colors
  8. I love the cork base work... very well done. The flesh looks good... overall the figure looks good. I wish there would have been more of those 3 stage figures.. i liked them.
  9. Love the shell! color choices are fantastic as well
  10. Love this! Great job. If you friend is running a gnome Paladin, my have him check out NPC by Robert Beven... one of the main characters is a one. Love the colors. My only suggestion would to do more the base. Use some green stuff to smooth it out or give it a different feel.
  11. Thank you all for the wonderful comments. I took the advice and worked on the tartis base a bit more. Think it is much better now. I sculpted the newspaper out of green stuff. All the news that's fit to print.
  12. I love the blue inlay. Good work on the face shading as well. The green shading on the cloak takes the cake though... wonderful job!
  13. What caught my eye right away was the fading from the skin to the fins and on down. Amazing work. Then the eye... wow! Those eyes! Love it! I was never a fan of this figure (or monster) until I saw this paint job. You have made me a fan! Great work! Natural 20 all the way...
  14. My 15 year old son is a Dr Who nut. His favorite Doctor is the 10th. So, for his birthday (on Monday), I painted this up for him. I've never painted him anything and I'm a bit nervous about it. I hope he likes it. Comments and suggestions welcome. I have not sealed the figure yet so I can always make a few minor changes. The figures painted are: Reaper - 80037: Telephone Box and Reaper - 50305: Benedict Baker Thanks
  15. nice face work. The eyes look great. Wonderful base work too.
  16. Love the colors and all of them! Excellent fur for the foxes. The base work on the first figure is outstanding. I have nothing negative to say. Fantastic work.
  17. pebbling? I only use water when I thin the paint. I'm keeping it as wet as I can. The face was a bit tough because the primer dried a bit too thick. Yep, that is free hand at the bottom. I was just playing around and 'it' came out. The back has a bit more.
  18. Howdy all, It has been a LONG time since I've posted, and and even longer time since I've painted. I'm trying to get the cobwebs out of my hands. I'd like to know what y'all think of this one. I still need to do the base work, but for the most part, the figure is done. Comments and suggestions and desired. LCS
  19. I like the pink! Molly Ringwald eat your heart out! The face really caught my attention. The expression is very good and she is coming to life very well. The eyes really pop! Excellent detail there. I look forward to seeing what you do with the rest of the belt and the wrist bands.
  20. I really like this! I like the simplisity you have here. The colors of the 'bird' are very realistic. I really like the eye, it caught my attention right away and made me think of a crow. Really makes me want to bring this character to life in one of my games. Excellent job.
  21. Love the dress! Great highlights. You have it 'texture'. Great job on her...umm... "lady tops" too. Good shadowing. My only suggestion would be to do more on the base. Add some turf or paint it like dungeon stones. Excellent mini
