So yesterday I had a code pop for a Cyber Monday special / discount so I thought I would be crazy and take advantage of it. Trouble is today I cannot find the code anyplace. Can anybody shed some light on this? I will be placing my order anyway but a discount just means I can grow my box of shame a bit more. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2023 was my first year but I am hoping to make it an annual event, I even came up with a name for that. We can call it a Convention. Pretty snappy name if you ask me. I have an idea for a diorama but that will likely be down the road a year or two as I am still new to this.

Has anybody ever used Flood Floetrol 1 qt. Clear Latex Paint Additive FLD6-04 - The Home Depot to thin paints for their Air Brush? Or have they used it to make washes? Ten bucks for a quart would go a long way in the painting world.

I do not know if this has been covered or not, but I would love to see some current info on airbrushing using the Vex. I attended Reaper Con 2023 and bought a Vex. I have ZERO experience using an air brush. Prior to the arrival of my air brush, I had never even seen one. What I am looking for before I jump in with both feet, Is info on thinning paint and that sort of thing. The Q&A prior to the Vex all talk about the need to thin your paint. Does that still stand true? It looks like it may not from what I gathered from Aaron Lovejoy's videos, but I am not sure. Any help for a 100% newb would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance.

I hope it is not late to celebrate WWMD 2023 still. On the official day I was going under the knife for a total knee replacement, so I was kind of busy. Also, I have only just (5 minutes ago) joined this happy group of misfits, so I didn't know about the day. I am new to the hobby, actually I am returning to the hobby after about a 25 to 30-year break, so yeah, I am new. I have been watching a massive number of videos on painting trying to pick up some knowledge. as soon as I can figure out how to post I will put up my early attempts.
