  1. I have to admit, I didn't do the base, my hubby did. He's the mad converter and terrain builder and therefore is good at bases. The first thought we had was a wooden deck and a ships wheel, but this one was a lot easier. Anyways, he gets the kudos for the base.
  2. Here is a picture of the figure I painted for Bleujenna. I'll be putting up a copy of it in the displaced miniatures gfaller for the Fall Reaper Exchange. I don't have that many pics in the gallery, even though a lot of people were involved. So if you'd like your mini to be included, please email it to me at [email protected]
  3. woohoo I finally got mine finished! I'll post it in the next day or so. I'm glad its all over!
  4. There is another photo updated to the Reaper Mini Exchange gallery at displaced mini's, this time by Sergeant Crunch, but I'm not sure who received it And I just added Skavenbabe's mini for Ardice. http://www.displacedminiatures.com/Reaper%20Mini%20Exchange/ images.aspx?gallery_id=973&from=Fall%202005%20Mini%20Exchange I still can't get the link to work correctly, but there is the whole URL, you just have to join the two bits together

  6. Mines not finished yet. but theres not that much more to do. I hope my recipient isn't too worried. I haven't forgotten, but life has been intruding lately. So if you haven't got it and are worried, you can ask S_E and check it was me.

  9. Now that the entries for Rotten Harvest are over, I can finally finish my figure and get it in the post. Hope to have it done by end of this weekend.
  10. This should work better sorry http://www.displacedminiatures.com/Reaper%.../galleries.aspx
  11. Sorry here's the blurb from my origianl post re file specs. I only have rudimentary photoshop skills, so if you are able to create the pics in the following format that would be great. Also as I'm hoping there will be quite a few submissions, the more photos in the correct format will help me a lot. I think its better if its a jpg file as I know it works for me as I haven't tried loading any other format to displaced minis. There should be no more than 2 pics of each figure. For one pic, make it no bigger than 600 pixels wide, and if two pics (front and back) no bigger than 300 pixels wide. For two pics its best if they are joined so we get one page for each figure, but I can do that if needed.
  12. Hi all sorry it has taken me so long to get the gallery up, but I haven't been online much as I haven't been well and been extra busy at work.. I've received two pictures so far (thanks to Jubliee and Tzor) and they can be found here http://www.displacedminiatures.com/Reaper%...ge/default.aspx If anyone would like to send pictures in, I think it would be great to have a quite a few to show off. If you would like to have your figures included, please send them to [email protected] Please let me know who painted it and who you painted it for. Please send me comments about whether you like the site and any changes you think would be good. I can change colour layouts and stuff, and if anyone has better words than mine for the open or about page, please pass them on. Thanks Chick

  14. I'm also going to get a nice base on my figure. My hubby is a mad converter and terrain maker, and suggested I base her up nice and offered to make it for me. Hopefully this weekend I'll have some quality painting time and can get her finished, But I'm also trying to get some figures done for the rotten harvest painting comp and the deadline for that finishes earlier, so will see how it goes. Also was talking to a propainter at a con recently, and told me some of the techniques used in the US and UK don't quite work here in Oz cause the air conditions are different (I've basically been trying to learn from tutorials), ie paint drying times, and stuff. So I'm going to try some techniqies he sugegsted on this one and see how it works.
  15. First time stripped it cause someone I trust said they didn't like th main colour I picked on that sort of figure. The second time, I got a new paint, and thought some of the detailing/edging would be way better in the new colour than the old colour sheme I had.
