  2. From what I was told, the samples may or may not represent an acutal color; usually they were deemed not quite right or were colors they decided not to use. So it's likely not any of the finished colors. I got a tealish kind of sample in my recent order; it's the first MSP i've seen and I think I want to switch over now.
  3. Hmm this thread got quiet, how's it going? I'm currently waiting (impatiently as a ferret on crack) for my (used) copy of the module to arrive. I intend to run it using Castles & Crusades and it's sparking my interest in painting again, so now I have lots of cool new minis to look at as well.
  4. The gnome is my current Gnome Artificer character in Eberron, Schmoodigart van Orlensteen (Schmooie) The Archer is my wife's Shifter Ranger The Paladin is a friend's Kalashtar Cleric. - When I started painting her I just thought cold (edit not clod) so I did the base in snow and dirt. Overall i'm pretty happy with how these all turned out. Mini Gallery Page 6
  5. Another accolade for Hirst Arts. I have several molds and have found them to be top quality. In addition, Bruce is top-notch when it comes to customer service. I also use dark gray Excalibur and Wood Glue. some of my pieces (of which there are actually very few) areHere. They're not quite as shiny in real life.
  6. Yeah, we need a haggis miniature.
  7. Well according to the description they have 8 legs. (MM3.5) But you're right the artist's picture only has 4. I thought they had 6 to tell you the truth.
  8. I think the Battalion Transport by Sabol is the largest of the "commercially available" cases. It holds 20" of trays (of the same type as the army transport) Has a telescoping handle and roller blade wheels on the bottom, so you can pull it like the luggage that it is. and has a shoulder strap and some front pockets. Only thing I don't like is that mine leans forward when setting on its legs/wheels. So I have to make sure it's leaning against something when filled up. I think the only place that sells them is The Warstore Reaper sells the trays as well in the store.
  9. No kidding! I'm always amused at the lengths male trolls, orcs, bugbears, kolbolds and other humanoids will go to to cover themselves when their female counterparts are swinging in the breeze. I actually have, as we have dubbed him, Winky! the Anatomically-correct troll I don't know who made him. I think I got him many years ago from Wargames West.
  10. Pine Sol works. I've also heard brake fluid or oven cleaner but haven't tried it. Also Simply green?
  11. I think it's a sash. Go here for my painted pic of this mini.
  12. Thanks for the ideas, I had even looked at that same page with the examples, but couldn't get much useful info out of the pictures.
