  1. Correct! Just replace his gun hand with a bottle from one of the metal Reaper pirates and you have a butler serving dinner.
  2. Heroclix has a skrull butler that I use as a half-orc butler, but I cut him off the base, so I have no idea what his character name was.
  3. Creature Components has some horns. https://www.reapermini.com/search/horns/latest/03334
  4. I have a lot of the clever paper stuff, and most of it is in scale, but compared to Reaper it may seem small. The bigger the base you like on your mini, the worse this is for you. My favorite is the castle wall kit, because it connects to other castle wall kits as well as the gatehouse, and it has a clever* way of making the walls so they can be straight or curved and back again, making it more organic looking and useable for more situations. Raging Owlbear has a review of them. https://ragingowlbear.blogspot.com/2019/05/dnd-cheap-village-terrain.html It is very relaxing to build these as you don't need tape, knives, nor glue, just the included toothpick to punch out hard to get slots. Though the ships do tend to be too small. Halber *pun intended.
  5. Arilyn Water Sorceress has a nifty sea shell scrying pool. https://www.reapermini.com/search/figurefinder+metal+elf/latest/02563 Halber
  6. They are selling them in packs now. Halber
  7. Why is the house itself so heavy? I think the new bones material is more denser, but they designed the house with the old material in mind and made it too thick. I'm thinking of opening the roof and dremeling out the excess plastic in order to reduce the weight. Halber
  8. The funny thing is, most people view Vikings as tall muscular warriors, when actually they were lean and usually a head shorter than the English monks they were slaying. <insert Yoda quote here> Halber
  9. Is it coming back, and if so when? Halber
  10. The thing is it isn't all I hoped it would be. The fore and aft-castle have removeable roofs, that are hard to remove, but the main deck doesn't come off to show a lower deck, like it hinted at in the preview. I do like the magnetized masts and cloth sails, but the rest is to bland and non functional. Halber
  11. The Descent Board Game had a decent unpainted Firbolg mini. https://binged.it/2BIzSm0 Halber
  12. Tirinha Fallowheart, Maggotcrown Deathlancer https://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/03914/latest/03914
  13. I thought they were just making the chronoscope stuff from the last kickstarter in grey, whereas all the others are in ivory.
  14. The woodlands scenic sheet appears to be expanded polystyrene foam, the green stuff world rollers work better on extruded polystyrene foam, such as you would get in sheets at home depot for a lot less than woodland scenic. Halber
  15. In 1980 I was a 6th grader and an 8th grader was apparently bored on the bus ride home, so he started running me through a dungeon. I just told him what I wanted to do and he worked out all of the rules himself. I got the DMG and Otus starter set for Christmas upon request, not knowing or caring that they were 2 different games, and except for a brief stint in a punk rock band, have been playing and or reading games continuously. Halber
  16. Well actually in the post before he said some of the alien Shadowkesh kits will be coming out soon, but after that he is obviously considering options. Halber
  17. Safari, LTD has an amazing and fairly inexpensive Leviathan. Halber
  18. I was ok with them, until I realized there were no tails. I'll still get a set, but I have enough minis that need converting to want to get more. Halber
  19. I agree. The bases offered by Reaper are 1 mm too tall to be compatible with most PPM minis. I have to shave off a mm and hope I get it even, which is annoying and prevents me from buying more bases. Halber
  20. They have used the Wargames Factory sprues in their "Test of Honor" line. They even added some metal characters and metal bits to add to the plastic sprues. Halber
  21. There was a Star Trek animated series episode that dealt with this called "The Magicks of Megas-Tu ". Check youtube for some inspiration. Halber
  22. Technically the D6 version is not coming back, but is getting reprinted, like the 1st edition AD&D books did a short while back. The new Fantasy Flight system is not rules compatible with d6, but the scenarios can easily be ported over. I also have to say I like the new FF system better than the old D6. Halber

  24. Actually I thought Yuan-ti came from A. Merrit's "The Face in the Abyss". They are called Yu-atlanchi and lived in Inca lands, and I think pathfinder's azlanti and based on this too.
  25. The displacer beast originated from a couerl. https://muleabides.wordpress.com/2011/01/10/origins-of-the-displacer-beast-and-rust-monster/
