  1. At this point they are just conversions of existing models. A concept model that will never see the light of day on a store shelf. However, should Reaper decide to move forward with this project, there will probably be armored vehicles in the game system. The zombie tanks have their own perpetual power system (the various poles and projections you see on the concept models). Exactly how they work into the game mechanics and backstory fluff is a work in progress. Dave
  2. Here is the web album I made with the pictures I took at Reapercon http://www.lshm.net/albums/reapercon07/ Dave
  3. "Your mother's buns flapping on the kitchen floor" --- Dave Pugh It's my fault he said it but that doesn't stop me from ratting him out
  4. No worries Newt. I'll be running it again in November at Millenniumcon in Austin http://www.millenniumcon.com Wander on up/down to the con and you can give me your 2pbs then By the by, Reaper is planning to be at Millennium again this year and I have made contact with the BL folks to insure there are plenty of Warlord/CAV games at the con as well. Dave
  5. I want to thank all the folks who played in the Reich of the Dead demo's I ran at the con. The games were a lot of fun and I got a lot of very useful feedback for taking the game to the next level. The Reaper folks are interested in developing the idea so hopefully next year you'll see me back running a full-fledged Reaper game. I took a number of pictures at the con, I'll try and get them posted up tonight. Dave

  7. I use the Army Builder file for Warlord and have been pretty pleased with it. You have to dink around with it to figure out how to assign equipment to models and how you set up a troop but once thats figured out it gets the job done. The AB printout is really nice for newbies and running demo's and such because everything is well organized and readable. Of course, AB files are only as good and current as the programmer who builds the file and when new rules come out there is a certain amount of lag time between the rules release and the AB file update. What a lot of folks don't reali

  9. Oh, if we are going outside the fantasy/Sci-fi genre for our cinematic torture chamber then I would suggest a marathon of Heaven's Gate, Gigli, and Ishtar. Dave Lone Star Historical Miniatures http://www.lshm.org Drop by for a virtual visit!!
  10. We mostly play at gameshops. They are centrally located for us and allow us to showcase the game to folks as they come in to shop. After Christmas, I'll have to bug our store owner at the place we play to register at WarlordHQ so we can register the games we play there for the big online campaign game. 11. We are getting armies together and playing practice games right now. My wargaming group intends to run a campaign from the Warlord book and tie individual battles into WarlordHQ/Reapergames. Your right, the campaign looks well thought out and should be a lot of fun to play. Dave Lone Star Historical Miniatures http://www.lshm.org Drop by for a virtual visit!!
  12. Hah!! We'll make you watch the Dungeons and Dragons movie, if both survive then you have to watch Wing Commander. If you both survive that then the ultimate test, we run Battlefield Earth until one of you runs screaming from the room. 13. Well the Stork and I played our first Warlord game without someone from Reaper around to show us the ropes and feeds us troops (I've played a couple of times at Reaper and Kev played in the Warlord demos run at Millennium). I ran my Necropolis warband and he ran a crusader group. We had two others join us as allies. I had an Reven ally and Kev had an Elven ally. Each of us had a 1000 point warband and the terrain board was a 6 x 8 surface with lots of hills, woods, and two small villages. I was made painfully aware that my force was not well organized to fight a warband dominated by a
  14. I just got a complete set of all the cards presently available and they are very nice. The only suggestion I have and its been made before is to have the back of the card be generic so you can use them as a draw deck rather than having to pick them out of a hat.
