I've been working on an LED crystal themed diorama and was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to source crystal or crystal-like miniatures in the 28mm-32mm range? I'm looking for 3-5 differrent minis to place on the diorama without bases. I'm not asking to source actual crystal miniatures, just ones that look crystal-ish...know what I mean? Golems, constructs, ice creatures, etc. Thanks.

Well better late than never I suppose... Here's my update: I am now offering individual basing supplies. Yes, even leaf scatter for a limited time. Check em' out and let me know what you think. LEAF SCATTER Basing Supplies -
I can concur with the statements concerning coloring your own static grass. It is a tedious task that takes time, patience and determination. I speak from experience.

Bases - To Just Flock or Go Fancy?
Arkblade replied to Brushmaster's topic in Speed / Army / Tabletop Techniques
Yes, cork. Not as much as you think though. I used one of the tiles in my Large Basing Kit. Then I used some texture paste and static grass, also found in the kit, to add moss and grass areas. It's not yet completed though. Black Texture Paste: Cork Tiles: Static Grass: -

I'm not going to come out and say that I'm a basing guru, because I've had failure after failure in my time. But I've had a great deal of success as well. Of course, it helps that I have/use my own products so it's never really an issue of "where do I find this?". Not all models are Reaper, but they're here for demonstration purposes only. -
I have a bit of experience with basing materials, as you know. Does that mean we would be in competition? sure, I guess so...but I don't mind at all sharing the information I have with you. Please drop me some mail if you have any questions, I'd be more than happy to help out in any way I can. It's all for the hobby as fasr as I'm concerned.

Very good replies so far, very cool. I have used these from Micromark before, but I can't seem to find them...been missing for several months. Also from Micromark, I have a friend who uses these...a bit pricey, but very nice.
