i saw it over the weekend too and i loved it. i can see some people's disappointment, but i thought it was a blast. it is also 27 years after the first one was made so i think some people remember their awe with the original from when they were children and just expecting the same magic now that they are older. IMHO

WOW. that is some of the best bust sculpts i have ever seen. i want to paint those.

Count me in. i need to know how to take better pics. like which coolpix do you use? i need a better camera and don't want to spend more than i really need too.

okay i have everyone accounted for on the list above, now. looks like things turned out pretty good. not sure who had me but i hope it didn't get lost in the mail. i can't wait to participate in the next one that comes up. mine went out late but i had a lot of fun painting it for someone. my dad wasn't so diplomatic. it was do as he said or get the paddle. we usually did what he said. but at one point in time my brother did make the paddle dissappear altogether.

oh man. that is freaking funny. isn't amazing how children don't tend to comprehend things like not hitting old people with fake guns. LoL. My wifes cousin has triplet boys and that is non-stop crazy all the time.

yeah, i liked actually seeing the consistency the paint should go on as.

The bear is very nice. i like seeing an animal that feels "real". i like the choice of red for the treeman. reminds me of bloodwood. which is red through and through. not sure if it is just the pic but is he glossy?

I don't who's sadder in this story. the guys who a part of a jedi "church" or the drunk darth. i guess at least the drunk guy has an excuse.

What a neat site. i like how i could find a local dealer of electric cars. not that i would buy one. i mean i paid only $4000 more for my car and it's a lot safer and so much more. those electric Zap cars only get 25 miles per charge and go no faster than 40 mph. i get 39 MPG at 80mph. not to mention the battery in those cars are only good for about 30,000 miles.

looks like i won't even be competing in this one either this year. i guess one of the downsides to having a never ending stream of commission work to do. oh well. the entries thus far are all really impressive.

I so want that. that rocks out on so many levels. i like the webcam thing too. if i get those i may end up single. LoL
