when was conan announced for letterman? last i heard it was leno. i haven't watched conan since andy left. Never was as good to me. Not so bizzare. i don't think fallon would be a good choice at all. i would like to see chris catan do a late night show.

happy b-day. cool to hear about the bonsai also. i tried to get into that and have all kinds of stuff sitting around for it but never really got anything growing except one benjamin ficus i found on the dead discount rack for like $1.50. It has been growing strong for like 3 years now in a little pot. time to repot this year actually .anyways. congrats and great to hear you having a good day.

I have DINK situation also but still chose not to ever have cable or satelite. i only want like 5 channels myself and i can't justify $50+ dollars to get the ones i want. so i said screw it. but when i watch my dvds they look awesome on my LCD tv. LoL. anyways. plus no room in my budget for anything right now because of stupid C.C.s almost paid off though. learned my lesson.

just another note. never close a PP dispute until the money is refunded. Once one has been opened and closed it is done. No further action can be take and a second dispute cannot be opened. i do think they should refund part of the shipping. sounds like a shady business to me.

okay. after many delays, mine will be going out today! Buying a new house really threw things off.

I should hopefully finishing the mini tonight and getting it shipped out by weds. I hope. Moving and dealing with a new house can really be a task and a half.

well after a plumbing mess, and trying to paint my living room in my new house. (been a busy first two weeks) i think i will make it just in time for the deadline. sad part is the mini has been about 85% done for about 4 weeks. ::sigh:: anyways i am going to try and get him done this week.

That is just freaking awesome. i NEED one of those.

just so excited about it all. finally got of moved in and proceeded to clutter the coffee table with my painting stuff. but the nice thing now is that in my basement i have a 12x24 room for all of my hobby stuff. So it no longer is in our living space. Looks like the guy who used to own the house must have gamed before or something because i found a huge table covered in the fake grass/field roll out mat. LoL. too bad i don't game. anyways thought i would share my excitement (maybe brag a little).

Well i moved and it put me behind on all my painting. so i hopefully will have my exchange mini done this week and some of my commission work too.

I'll never forget my wreck. I had a green light and he had a red light and decided not to stop. Hit me doing 75 in a 25 zone. He drove his car home and i had to cut out of the car. Luckily i walked away without a scratch. Glad you are alright.

Now that is funny stuff. my friends will enjoy. especially being a history buff.

Well it looks like i got behind with trying to move and do the mini exchange at the same time. However i will have it finished for the deadline. I am moving this weekend so i don't expect it to be done that quickly. LoL.

i always had good luck selling mine on ebay. bitz box is what i list them as. but luckily i no longer have any of that stuff sitting around.

i loved the movie but really was surprised how different it was from the book, but i was okay with it because Douglas adams wrote the script for the movie. Come to find out the books are different than the original radio show were also. Either way they are all great, but i think i enjoyed the books most of all. The books are so crazy.

Well i finally finished the fifth and final book of the HHGTTG series. I must say, that i have a lot of mixed emotions on this one. I have always loved the books, the BBC tv series, and movie for years. When i read that last paragraph of Mostly Harmless, i was broken hearted. However it was also very apropiate way to end the series. I know he wanted to write one last one, The salmon of doubt, but never finished. It started as a dirk book, but even he said he didn't like the way Mostly Harmless ended. Anyone else read these books and have any thoughts and feelings. Easily my favorite books of all time.

they are metallics. i've always thought NMM were awesome for pic taking but not so much IRL. So i am trying to get my metals to look real. Though i have seen some impressive NMM done before.

well here are some better pics i took useing wax paper to diffuse the light. and the pics a bit bigger now. This was the first real paint job i put effort into in about 3 years so here are some of the things i was working on. More of a fur like coat to the horse, Gems, actually shading the metallics, no drybrushing, using a set color scheme, trying a pattern on the fabric, getting smooth highlights, gonna try and push my limits with the basing too. think i may do it in a snow theme. man seeing these photos really helps give me a new perspect on some of the mistakes i need to go back and retouch up. Not sure how much i like the pattern on the cloth. seems to plain right now. I was thinking of adding gold ribbing on the diagonal lines with a type of button or gem at each crosspoint.

Okay here is two new photos using wax paper to diffuse the light. what a difference. also using the camera's light and iso settings. didn't even think my camera had that those until tonight. Also ironed the background and use two different backdrops. will also update my WIP thread.

looks good. paint looks a little grainy but that maybe the camera. love the staff.

that is the greatest pet story i have ever read. i wish my pets were that cool.
