  1. Well I am glad to see you have him safe and sound! Those barbarians at the post office worry me......lots. I'm very honored that you will be using his colors to paint your army by. To answer your question the skulls were very simple. Games Workshop Bleached bone with Chestnut ink wash. You reclaim the Bleached bone bits you want, and then hit the teeth with Skull white and do a light highlight of Skull white on the very raised portions of the skull itself. The horns on the demon skull I painted Chaos black and then varnished for the shiny look. Thank you all for the very kind compliments. It was a treat to paint a figure that I had no plans to paint at all, but it works well for someones army. Hopefully he will kick some serious @$$ for you in the future!!!! God bless and happy gaming to all!
  2. That is worth thinking about! A whole were creature army instead of just a Lupine army. Very nice. It would be pretty cool if Reaper came out with a before and after blister. You could have rules for Lupine models in human and in Lupine form! The humans wouldn't be as strong but they could use more equipment or cast more spells! Great ideas, even though the Halfling werewolf is just creepy. An ogre werewolf would be a beat stick! I think a giant werewolf would be pushing it. Thank you.
  3. Alien four was a disgrace. No one wuss slaps a queen and gets away with it, NO ONE! And all other Alien movies bow down to the greatness that is Aliens. I will be buried with a copy clutched in my cold fingers.
  4. Darth Maul chewing up a cubic butt ton of red shirts would be pretty sweet.
  5. I did think about doing that. It would kinda emphasize that there is a 500 pound werewolf in the armor. I just wanted him to be as fully encased as he could be. But I am thinking you are right. The muzzle bit needs to go. I was wondering if the sword was large enough for you? Thank you for your feedback!
  6. Newest one. This is the armored Lupine. The hardest part was the bloody muzzle bit. I still don't think I have it looking right. This is another photo, so I apologize once again for the crappy quality. Also there is a great deal of detail missing from this drawing on purpose. I'm gonna do all the shading and lighting effects off the armor digitally. So I really can't have all those ink lines to show light reflecting and curvature.
  7. I would like to see: A female angel in plate mail armor. Preferably if she has a flaming sword. Paladins on all the various mounts they can have as divine mounts for D&D. Paladin on a horse. Paladin on a Lion. Paladin on a hippogrif.
  8. Tomarrow I should be able to post the Armored Lupine warrior I drew up. He looks fairly nasty.
  9. Sweet! Thanks for the information! I was worried I was going to have to have a Lupine army lead by a human. That would be very lame indeed.
  10. Okay guys, I am on the confused side. The Lupine Lord model. On his stat card it shows that he is a unique captain. In the newest Casket works it states that he's a Warlord for the Mercenary faction. Is his data card been changed to read that he is a Warlord?
  11. Ha! I say the filthy Predators stole the tech they have, and enslaved smarter creatures to instruct them on the use of it. We can really only speculate about the Aliens as well. Since they breed with other races differently, they have an infinite amount of diversity available to them. I'm also certain that the movies just scratched on the surface of the structure of Alien hierarchy.
  12. Thank you very much! With the bow I was looking at making it look as raw as possible. I was trying to convey that these guys are still werewolves and not bow makers. Just like a hunk of a tree with metal tips so they don't wear out. I should next week have another put up!!!!
  13. Here is yet another crappy snap shot. This is of my Lupine Ranger/archer/ranged attack guy. Again I will get my scanner back online and you can have these in nice clean formats and actually see the full version of this one. I had to cut off a bit of the bow. I would like some more feedback on what you guys would like to see. I can then whip up some more concept art and maybe that would get some blood pumping around here to try and push some more Lupine figures!
  14. Well, I not a reader of Scifi, so I never knew the book existed.
  15. I dunno man, the newer Necromunda stuff is hot and it's really customizable. The Orlocks are a realy nice one to start out with, and they have loads of options. You can also score extra weapons from GW mail order.
  16. Um...no. Hive mind came more into focus with Robert Heinlein and Starship Troopers. Not just my opinion, fandom agrees with me: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xenomorph_%28Alien%29 Exactly what I'd expect a stealthy, cunning critter to do: hide. Not all that unlike a Trap-Door Spider, really. And Tyranids would revert back to their instincts without the presense of a hive mind. This sometimes made them even more dangerous rather than making them completely defenseless. The only hive-mind I've ever seen that was destroyed by taking out the Queen was in Ender's Game. See aforementioned Wikipedia article. Info on their history and background was never really expanded upon. My friend, Starship troopers came out far after GW released the Tyranids. And did you notice the similarities between the two army compositions? Of course you did. I'm not saying that they director of that movie stole the ideas brought about by the GW crew, I'm just saying that they have a whole lot in common, and the move did come out almost fifteen years after the release of the Tyranid army. Also, you failed to site that the Alien hid in the escape pod when the ship was set to self destruct. If it was as dumb as everyone clams he would have hidden in an air shaft on the exploding ship still waiting for the queen to give him orders. He knew what time of day it was, and hauled arse to the last ship with an in flight meal.
  17. That's the one! Man did that mod creep me out. You could use all the neat laser guns until you stepped away from the spaceship then they shut down. Blast you Gary!!!!!
  18. That would be sweet if anyone took my ideas for some new models to heart. I would love to help give a werewolf army a shot in the arm. Sure thing man, this is a free for all, I just really want some new minis for this possibly GREAT army! Ha! I already have the *Hunter* concept piece nearly complete. The Melee guys sound great. I don't know so much as the shrouded faces though, kinda reminds me of an executioner. Maybe a special Lupine Helm. I was actually toying with the idea of a Lupine knight of sorts. A big tank in plate, with a little tail hole of course. HAHAHAHAHA! His only weak point.
  19. Sure you can, I have a usually busy job, but when it's not busy I draw a little bit. These are just ball point pen stuff, I do at work. Lemme know.
  20. I have a feeling that you guys are big big fans of Games Workshop. They are the ones that had cornered the market of collective intelligence. I think that is crap when we speak of Aliens. Lest we not forget Alien the first, that only ever had One alien in it. If your collective theories have any spark of truth in them then it would mean that that little all on his stupid unthinking own would have curled up in a ball and waited for the ONLY thinking creature to come along and tell it what to do. But this is not the case. That little lonely alien knew enough to HIDE IN THE ONLY BLOODY ESCAPE POD LEFT!!!!!! Now I'm not sure about you collective intelligence people out there, but that seems kinda.........smart to me. Also.......in no shape or form do we know how the Aliens think, aside from survival which is all we have seen them strive to do. Honestly I think I might like to see an Alien home movie, you know, Thanksgiving at the Queens house. Roast human and Predator on the table with all the workers and Face huggers pulled up. I think something like that would give us a better understanding about the.....Alien.
  21. I dunno about you, but I really don't think you find many star ships in Fantasy, EXCLUDING, that really weird and very old D&D mod that had the starship in it. I think it was called Cripple peak or death mountain, something like that. Man, a friggen Bird o Prey would have it's power banks depleted if it tried to shoot down the Death star. Too much crap to blow up on that thing. And while it was trying so hard to do that, the Emperor on board would just Force the cloaking device off, Use the force to break the captains and gunners necks, and then send out one little ship out there to plant a charge on the ship, then Kaboom. You don't freak with the force man! Post script: Kirk was a hoe bag. He'd be too busy getting some to notice Boba Fett behind him with a snare gun. Post post script: Picard is a great actor, but he's a wuss that is still all convoluted by what the lame Borg did to him. He's in no shape to stand up to a wookie, let alone a wuss from Tantooine.
  22. The finals with color will be posted later as I find out what the holy heck is wrong with my scanner. I'll have the Archer/ranger Lupine and maybe some others done by then as well. I'm just trying to put my feelers out there and see if people are as interested in seeing new models for the Lupine as I am. Thank you.
  23. These are some pics I had to take with my camera due to the fact my scanner is all jacked up. I would really like to see more figures made for Lupines! I'm also working on an archer/ranger kinda Lupine. <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m50/dedros/Werewolfandhammer.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> This is like a Special model a larger Lupine with a big war hammer. <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m50/dedros/Werewolf.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> This is kinda like what I was talking about on another thread about a half starved Lupine that gets special rules when it's within a certain inch distance from a killed model.
  24. I would kinda like to see an improvised weapon thing. The Beast model could rip up a tree or a boulder or even a lump of earth and use it either as a projectile weapon or a hand to hand weapon. They did that in VOR kinda for the White Tusks. I just thought it was a very flavorful rule that lended to the whole kinda smart but still savage creature theme going for the White tusks.
