Heh, whoops! In my zeal to post the scenarios before they were even later, I posted the unedited ones! I edited my post above to attach the edited versions. Exact same content, just with less typos.

Curent minis you'd like to see rules for
Gus Landt replied to Angrydwarfguy's topic in Warlord General Discussion
These are all very old models. Many, if not all, have been long since discontinued. Don't hold your breathe on any of them getting datacards, but by all means use them as proxy models in your army! -
Get em HERE! Please note that there are a few additional Official Rules for ReaperCon tournament: 1) No more than 6 Gaan-Hor Warrior are allowed in any army build. 2) Sir Broderick, Justicar is allowed to lead Justicar soldiers. 3) The spells Flaming Arrows and Barrage do not stack. If a model has both cast on it, the player must chose which spell is in effect for each Shoot Action.

Casting damaging spells on your own troops
Gus Landt replied to Deadeye_Jake's topic in Warlord Rules Discussion
Attack spells ALWAYS roll against the MD of each affected model (friendly & enemy). Non-Attack spells ALWAYS roll against a flat target value of 10. Hope that helps! -
They will be posted be the end of this weekend.

The biggest reason to not do Saturdays is that I run the Asylum from Sunday through Friday. Saturday is literally my only day off each week. The Asylum is open every Saturday from 11am to 6pm. If you would like to put together a tournament, shoot me an email and I can give you the details on how to run one.
-
The 3rd Saturday of every month is a Warlord tournament in Richardson (just north of Dallas) at The Gamers Realm, run by our own team. Out-of-towners are encouraged to attend!
-
if it is melted down, how will the good folks at Reaper know where it came from? Exactly. If we cannot determine it is our metal, then you may be out of luck.
-
Then I look forward to seeing you at the 9am morning service!
-
We are not. We had no one show up last month, so we are taking that as a complete lack of interest in warlord tourneys at the asylum. There will be the ReaperCon one of course. There should also be one in Richardson at The Gamers Realm in mid-May.
-
I can answer the 2nd part of your question. Kragmarr are all dwarves. They have giant Forge Titans that fight with them. The Forge Titans are represented by the fire giant models, but they are NOT fire giants. They are just dwarven titans.

Be sure to schedule some time during Reapercon to playtest our super hero rage game that is currently in development!
-
We'll post up this year's rules as soon as possible. I am trying to establish a more structured system for this year.
-
People attending ReaperCon will be able to play some games in a game system we've been working on that blends Warlord and RPG elements. I won't give a release date, but at this point I cannot imagine it wouldn't come out in 2011.
-
Savage North is right on schedule for a July release. We are in the later stages of playtesting, with just minor tweaks remaining. Layout is about 30% done, and it will look like an actual book instead of the textbook looking thing I produced! No preorders will be available, sorry.

You are correct in that a counterspell cannot prevent the magma from appearing. Counterspell says that the penalty applies to "every casting check made for this spell". That is no different for Molten Earth. If Molten Earth is counterspelled, then all future checks from passing through the molten earth are made with that penalty. Those future checks cannot be further counterspelled, since only the Casting Check step (5) of Attack Spell Resolution would be performed. As in all AoE attack spells, if the spell is counterspelled, the CP penalty applies to all Casting Checks made for the spell.
-
So nothing from the public beta of the Savage North? Correct
-
Scenarios should be posted 1 month prior. Ditto Army Reqs? ( e.g: 1000 Pts armies; At least X troops; no more than X troops; . . . some other limit . . . ?? ) I've been looking for last year's, no luck so far. It is posted on the page to buy your tourney entry ticket http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/ReaperCon/latest/RC10-WT 1000 points is the only restriction (well, plus it has to be from the Warlord 2nd Edition core rulebook).

A strict interpretation of the rules would conclude that the Rush Attack model does NOT gain the benefit of Divine Vigor, because it is not conducting a Combat Action. It is simply using its SA to gain a free melee attack as part of a Charge Action.
-
Flying Swift Attackers are still considered to be in B2B. The rule just says they do not need to land and be physically touching, but they are indeed considered in B2B. Therefore, they would gain Support bonuses.

discipline check for vicious timing
Gus Landt replied to kyaakone's topic in Warlord Rules Discussion
Yes, after damage is applied. -
Not only does that soldier still have the Divine Vigor/Might, but not even taking Defensive Strikes would use it up. (of course, it wouldn't benefit from these enhancements during said Defensive Strikes. Basically, just as the wording says - the model gains the benefit the next time it performs a Fight Action, regardless of how many actions later that may be.

Sunday April 11th Warlord Tournament
Gus Landt replied to Gus Landt's topic in Reaper General & Faq's
Time. 3 rounds, each lasting 90 minutes. This has been producing about 3-4 turns, but things get faster after you play a scenario the second time. It has to be a set time because at conventions, you are allotted blocks of time that you cannot run over. -
