Thanks for all the in put everyone.
I've thought about this a lot the last 2 months and especially the last week.
Now that I've really looked at what I've got it seems that the only things worth selling are the metal minis and the HA molds.
It's not that I want to get out of the hobby it's just that I need to put it on hold for... 5 years? Maybe more... maybe less? Hard to tell right now. There's just a lot more important things which require my resources right now and my gaming friends obviously have better things to do. I've already got everything boxed up neatly as I have no dedicated work area or display area. Seeing that it's really not worth it to sell I think I will just pack it all away for now.

At this point in my life I've realized I don't have the time to dedicate to painting, money to spend on it, and really don't have the time to game (which was the whole point of painting for me). Time to sell it all off and focus on other things.
I'm not really looking to make a bunch of money here; just get some money for my stuff and get it out of the house.
I'd really like to sell it all off in one big lot but I don't know if anyone would even buy all of this stuff at one time. Should I sell it all as one big bundle or sell it off in pieces or sections?
Maybe I should sell all the metal minis and painting stuff in one lot, all of the hirst arts stuff in another, and all of the prepainted plastic minis as yet another lot?
How much is this stuff even worth? Could I get $100 for the whole lot? $50? Less?
I'll figure out exactly how much of everything I have this weekend but here's some rough estimates off the top of my head.
Around 70 metal minis (mostly reaper, some old ral partha, and just a few of misc)
Dozens of pre painted plastic minis (mostly DDMs, a few LEs, and a few misc)
Some reaper swag points
About 20 bottles of paint.
4 really nice paint brushes
A bunch of crappy brushes
Two big bottles of brush on matte and gloss varnish
Half a bottle of flow improver
Bottle of pink brush soap
Shoe box full of basing material
2 hirst arts molds
30 pounds of hydrostone
A ton of minis cast from the 2 molds
All the tools needed to cast using the molds (glass plate, scraper, timer, plastic cups, etc)

Where does the often praised OTT light fall in here? I was hoping to see a spectral analysis of that as well. So I dug around the interweb and here's what I found:

Spectral analysis:
Seems the OTT-Lite TrueColor has some big spikes as well. Despite it's large spikes; does it seem like a great light because those spikes pop up at all different wavelengths (blue, teal, green, yellow, orange, and red) Where as the N:VISION 'full spectrums' really only spike up 3 or 4 times closer together in the spectrum?
Am I way off here? What say you light gurus?

It's good to hear that you are satisfied with the results, you're getting better, and plan to keep practicing.
You're brush control is obviously improving. They eyes are pretty good too!

You'd asked for tips; I believe with regards to lighting and photography? Check out the Shutterbug forum on here. Build the poor mans light box; it helps a lot! Learn your camera and test the settings one at a time; analyze them and see what helps and what doesn't.

Practicality has nothing to do with fantasy minis and games; check it at the door. It's not a 'to scale replica model'... it's a fantasy mini of a dog with some huge weaponry on it's back. So what if it had a small caliber weapon attached to it's back? It's still completely impractical; how does the dog aim, shoot, and reload it? Does someone follow it around and fire the weapon; because that's not practical either. It's not about practicality, plausibility, or reality; it's about fantasy. =^.^=
How does this pug carry, aim, shoot, and reload this huge weapon while standing ground from the recoil? MAGIC!

I've been really happy with our Sony Cybershot DSC-P200. Way more settings than I ever thought I'd use but I started using them now that I've gotten into taking photos of minis. I've setup the Program setting just the way I like it now, it has Manual mode, and much more.

I dunno what you mean by 'cheap' but when you mention an Nikon D700 then it's relativly cheap =) They go for about $300 new; saw some used as low as $89 on Amazon. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a used one. We've put ours through a lot over the last 5 years and it's still great; original battery and nothing has broke.

That's pretty weak for $20.
I use full spectrum CFLs that put out 1,300 lumen for less than $20. They are n:vision ESM27 27 watt 5500k (100 watt daylight or full spectrum I think the package said) Usually have 4 of them mounted in different positions. I get these at Home Depot and other big box stores.

That's neat with the outlet cover being engulfed by the tree. I remember 2 years ago helping clean up some land that was a junkyard 50 years ago. Trees grew right around whole transmission bell housings, roots coming through rims, and things similar to your picture. Funny what trees will grow around.

No they look really ugly before dipping so I took no photo of them. :)
Would you be able to do before and after for the next batch or are they all done now? I know they may not look that good but it helps me (others?) see how you need to paint them up first before dipping.
Do you just do a base coat? Any highlights? Do you make your colors a little brighter since the dip will darken the whole model? Or does the dip actually roll off the high spots completely and only gather in the recesses thus it won't darken highlights or higher surfaces?
I think it lends to just how well dipping can work if you can see before and after. Especially on these models with brighter colored clothes and lighter skin. I've seen dip work well on dark skin, dark clothes, and bone (such as undead, orcs, etc) but it's nice to see it work well on lighter colors.
This was with the army shader stuff? Or something else?

I was trying to find the mouselings using the Search feature at the main Reaper site and this poped up in the figure finder

I'm sure the Reaper staff would confirm that the amount of lead in their (non P-65) pewter is minuscule, and of no practical consequence.

I went metallics because I need to get better at blending and more practice before taking on NMMs. Plus I have somewhat of a deadline; I may need them at our next game night which is next week and I knew I wouldn't have much painting time this week. Needed to just get them done. Basically I wussed out =P
There's one tiny example of NMMs =) The archer's spaulder has no metallic paint.

I agree; you are getting better. From Snar to the goblin to the this cleric you can see improvement.
Is there some detail in his bracer on his left hand? Looks like it was covered in brown and I can't tell if it's a bracer of a wrinkly glove or something else.

That blue is ELECTRIC! Holy Cow! Dos it look that vivid IRL or just comes off like that with lighting + camera?
