Starter Boxes in "Point" denominations would be attractive I think. "Elven 500 pt. Army" or "Elven 1000 pt. Army" and just make sure they are good to put together for a "1500 pt. Army" and that gives the consumer three options for thier faction. Veronus

I just wanted to say welcome from another "Noob" and let me assure you, you are in good hands with this gang :) I've been having a blast trying to put together a nice Elven army and haven't even played yet! But I figure I will at least get to play at Reapercon -- if I don't find someone in my area before then -- and that gives me plenty of time to have grand delusions of being a mighty Elven Warlord...He..he. Sweet, Sweet, Sweet, and Sweet! Great Info. Unfortunately I have 15 Vale Warriors - and very few other soldier models. I think I'm going to pick up a couple more hunting cats, 5 Royal Guards, 5 Deathseekers and 2 more Centaur Warriors......and then re-configure and see where I'm at. I really like the Argyrian strategy that Gus pointed me towards (with the familiar regaining SP's etc..) and I'm hoping to keep Selwyn, Niriodel and Caerwynn involved. Someone else mentioned the Larnach and Lysette strategy of casting mirror twice on Caerwynn which I'm curious about and do have Larnach, but I'm really partial to my dragon :) Veronus

Innate Spell says the model "may cast it as many times as they have Spell Points to do so". Also, page 37 on Special Abilities: "Occasionally an SA conflicts with a rule in this rulebook. In those cases, the rules for the SA override the rules found elsewhere in the rulebook." Therefore, innate Unique spells may be cast more than once. Faeries or hunting cats useful?

I think one's for Lysette and the other's for Argyrian... Yep, that's right. I'm working on building her a better frontline in that troop, but have already resolved myself to the fact that I will have to keep that troop in the back and protected. I think i can tweak it a little though.

Is there another Arcance caster besides Lysette in the Elves faction? I see Larnach but he is a Warlord so that would out my Argyrian strategy.. Thanks! Veronus
