Cool. I reference my old orders quite a bit when they are a handy one click away. As a retailer, I have some issues with the redesign, but it probably works better for regular customers this way. . . . So, does this redesign mean we are close to being able to order individual minis from multi-packs again? I don't even remember what it was called anymore (Boneyard? Isle of Lost Minis?), but I liked it. Sometimes you just need 10 Badgers or 20 pairs of boots (if not both)...

Cleric of Urgathoa (60088) - multiple pieces?
Dragon Snack replied to Dragon Snack's topic in Reaper General & Faq's
My customer was not convinced. And with the actual mini in hand it was a harder sell... -
Is the Bones 3 cemetary fencing ever coming out?
Dragon Snack replied to pinkymadigan's topic in Reaper's Product Lines
While I personally don't mind boxes as a retailer, I'm sure they do get complaints from other retailers about boxes. If someone has all their minis on hooks, finding a place for a box isn't necessarily easy. You want to keep like product grouped together after all. Plus they can't just use a generic box, so there are printing costs associated with that sort of "quick fix". If the weapon sprues are brittle (as noted above), they need to be packaged so they don't jumble around. It's probably a little more involved than throwing an extra sheet of foam in there (which also costs money). Viridius and Mudgullet ended up in a bag in their blister, but it was likely more cost effective for the bigger minis to do that (it still took a long time, I lost a sale of Mudgullet when the DM who had been asking me for it made it past that encounter). -
Cleric of Urgathoa (60088) - multiple pieces?
Dragon Snack replied to Dragon Snack's topic in Reaper General & Faq's
Thanks. Yeah, I was pretty sure it was 2 pieces, but it is kind of hard to tell and they definitely don't fit smooth. I'll have to green stuff it together for him. Ha! I didn't even think to check the painted ones... -
I special ordered a Cleric of Urgathoa for a customer and it came in multiple pieces. It *looks* like this was intentional to me, but the scythe doesn't sit very well in what (I believe) is the socket. My customer believes it's broken (and I can't definitively say it's not). Is it supposed to be 2 pieces? If it is, have others had issues trying to seat the scythe into the mini? I just don't want to reorder it and end up facing the same issue...

The new and improved Dragon Snack Games
Dragon Snack replied to Dragon Snack's topic in Off-Topic Rampancy
They're on pot design 3 or 4 at least. And those are just the ones I've seen, I'm sure there were ones from before my time... I don't think they'll switch to droppers anytime soon, a lot of new painters prefer painting out of the pot. -

Yeah, Citadel paints are the most returned product due to quality issues across all my product lines (D&D books come in second) and even when I dealt directly with GW my reps gave me issues about returning them. They're also my highest shrinkage product (that I can track, I'm sure the loose dice and Magic bulk are worse), which is why they are closer to the front than both Reaper and Army Painter. Add on the short discount and I'm even less of a fan, but they do sell well... -
For those of you who remember me, I thought I would post a quick update on my my store - since I've moved yet again! Although it was only 2 miles this time, I did go from ~2100 sf to ~6000 sf - so I've got some breathing room (again). Since this IS the Reaper forums, I'll keep it relevant with some gratuitous shots of my paint and minis selection! Look at all that Bones mini goodness (with some Dark Heaven, Chronoscope, Warlord, and Pathfinder sprinkled in)...

I suppose I should at least try to poke you for more info as to why, even if I imagine the lack of info was a hint that it won't be forthcoming...

Am I blind or has the Bones Super Glue (00995 or 00996) been removed from the store? I'm not finding any in distribution either. It gets high praise from my customers and I'm down to my last bottle...

It appears I've sold the Fire Demon labelled as a Gelatinous Cube I once had on my shelves...

I too miss the bulk base boxes, especially now that there are different types of bases available...

Ugh, any non-packaged options?
-
I understand that, but there is a release date for nearly everything else out to July 2018 (including other large minis). I'm well versed in "SoonTM", but when we're already looking 9-10 months out I'm hoping for a little more.

If it's the one that is going to become 77514, info from one of my distributors says sometime in February 2018. Hmm, now for my own question... 77581 Froghemoth I have a customer who is waiting (im)patiently for this to be released, but I don't see it in my distributors listings.

They started to show up at distributor warehouses this week...

I had a customer looking for a baby owlbear. Perhaps a familiar pack of baby monsters... Like 'Lil 'Hlu.

Yeah, it's not just Reaper. I had to pick up copies of Eclipse Phase from Posthuman Studios at Gen Con because my distributor still didn't have it two months after it had been back in print. It took them over a month after that before they got it in. So that was over 3 months to get it in stock... Good thing it wasn't a special order or anything. Oh wait, it was.

I asked about ordering the Bones Rack Deal for my store through my distributor and was basically told they would order it when they got around to it. Neither of my major distributors have updated their Rack Deal listings. Needless to say I ordered it direct from Reaper. I've noticed *some* outages (and some apparently got NIC'ed), but the majority of Bones are available from Reaper (and metal is cast on site, so I'm assuming it's readily available, I don't sell much of that). A store will give up a couple of points ordering direct (and it won't count towards volume with a distributor), but we can get it. If they're saying they can't get it direct from Reaper, well, I don't want to call them liars, but...I don't know how to finish that sentence.

Thanks. The change was mostly groan inducing, since I spent time figuring out which Rack Deal worked better for me and then the rack deals went from A or B to All or Top 50, not something I ordered and showed up different... I needed to do inventory anyway.

Dead Dragon Snack Games - Buffalo kickstarter
Dragon Snack replied to Dragon Snack's topic in Kickstarter
FUNDED! Thank you! There's still an hour and a half if you want to get in on it... -
IIRC, someone gave me their paint rack because they weren't using it. I didn't get much use out of it either, but I did use it at my store for a while. I still have it, hidden up on the "top shelves" (where product goes to die)...

Magic, Legend of the 5 Rings, and Star Wars artist Drew Baker not only has a playmat level, he has also offered to join anyone as part of their group if you choose the RPG session or private booster draft levels. Less than 2 days to go! If you're local or even semi-local, please help out. There's even a level for 4 pint glasses with shipping if you're not local! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/978735882/dragon-snack-games-buffalo-tabletop-hobby-game-sto/ -
Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter... Are these the same Rack Deals you have on the website? As long as the distributor doesn't wait to combine it with their regular orders, I may be better off doing it through them... Side note, you changed the Bones Rack Deals recently, messing up my plans. *shakes fist* I can probably find a few that I should return...
