  1. Nice minimalist paint job that conveys the spirit of the piece. That figure is full of creepy and awesome...
  2. Just catch yourself up. I think we've all altered what we did if things have changed since we made our posts...
  3. Is this a Reich of the Dead promotion? http://www.kxan.com/dpp/news/Road_signs_warn_of_zombies
  4. Nice catch, playing Goblins I had forgotten that...
  5. Did I miss a new rule about Adepts?
  6. You can watch The Prisoner online now... http://www.amctv.com/videos/the-prisoner-1960s-video/
  7. I don't think I mentioned time in my post. I didn't think we were going to wait...
  8. Minis: Good quality and low-ish cost (there are cheaper minis out there). Honestly, I expect good customer service and consider that part of the quality equation. Paints: Great quality. I've tried Vallejo and GW, wasn't impressed. Craft paints are cheaper, but don't give me the results I get with Reaper. Rulesets: I like Warlord and the fact that you can get into the game for a low price (of course, now I play the antithesis of a 'low price' army - a Goblin/Hill Giant horde). While I appreciate the fact that ReaperPeeps are cool, that's just a bonus. There are plenty of companies I think are cool that don't earn my business (especially game companies) - much less get me to demo their product. And yes, there are also companies that I could care less about that do earn my business, but those are usually more mainstream companies.
  9. Actual Halflings, not '3/4-lings'... And I played Gnomes and Halflings in 3.x, it was really 3.5 that shafted the wee folk.
  10. My EYES! The goggles do nothing! Garravank needs loin cloth. Badly.
  11. Where did you find this? This could be cool to have (like you said, better to have it and not use it...), especially since I'm only playing Savage Worlds right now.
  12. I don't know what program he uses, but there was a new player in my D&D game that uses one to help him tweak his characters. It does the math for him and then prints it all out for him so he doesn't have to look up the obscure things. While I used the Character Generator that came with the 3.0 PHB for a little bit, I much prefer just doing it all by hand. Which means that I never used it for NPCs once I became the DM for my group. I wouldn't call it useless for DMs, but I can see why he thinks it's very beneficial to players...
  13. I like your hound. What's that Blue and Green Chaos Beast like thing?
  14. So, books that have been out for a over a year (Confessions: 9/07 and Elfish: 4/07) count as "new books"? Rastl, maybe you can influence a new book on 'female gamers' (however that thread itself goes south rather quickly)...
  15. That's SIR Terry Pratchett to you...
  16. Be careful about "features" that may be buggy. I bought my Canon because it had an option to take pictures through your computer (so you could see what your results were going to be before you took the picture) and I've NEVER gotten it to work. I'm still happy with the camera, but I would have saved some money if I had known the computer control feature wouldn't work...
  17. Where's the BONK! when you need him?
  18. Let's hope it wasn't important... This feature strikes me as an element open to potential abuse.
  19. I would take those 5 GreyHorde, my 2 weren't even that good... I can't take a pic of one of them, it was for an exchange (VERY late), and the other is poor tabletop quality, it was a conversion for a SWSE game that was canceled (never did get back around to touching it up after the campaign ended)...
  20. EVERY figure with an integral base? Have you even looked at the recent releases? Seriously, go look at the 3300 line (it's easy in the online store). A quick look shows lot's of them that DON'T have broccoli bases (even moreso if you exclude the "DHL Classics"). And it's not just the recent releases, go look at 2835 Jolie and 2826 Terezinya (both pre-2005, since that's when 3000 came out). Integral bases, non-broccoli. I think I hear music... It's astounding... Time is fleeting... Madness... (what's it do?) Takes its toll... But listen closely... (for how much longer?) Not for very much longer... I've got to (SMOKE A ....!) keep control... I remember, doing the Time Warp! Drinking, those moments when... The blackness would hit me... (ouch!) And the void would be calling... LET'S DO THE TIME WARP AGAIN! LET'S DO THE TIME WARP AGAIN!
  21. Just wait. It only took him 10 minutes to visit my page after I said something. He is only one man after all. Or so I assume...
  22. Well yes, in fact in one of my games I had a player with a Halfling Paladin/Monk (Hin Fist). But the core RAW has multiclass restrictions already in place. I'm kind of assuming Bikerdrew wasn't running a FR campaign, since he didn't want Teifling PCs and multiclassed Paladins.
  23. Search the Show Off section for threads by "Froggy the Great". That's Lanse's screen name on the boards. They aren't tutorials, but they should give you plenty of inspiration...
