    Brother Vincent (speed paint PC)

Today I finished up another PC for the current D&D campaign we’re playing. This one is for a friend and the scheme is his choosing. He’s a cleric of Pelor. The base is a ruins base from Micro Art (I think?). The cloak’s symbol is supposed to be like this: This is the symbol of the deity, “Pelor” in D&D (strictly fictional). I attempted to free paint this on the cloak, as was asked by my friend. It’s not as bad as I thought it would come out I’m pretty happy. Enjoy!

A Christmas Present and a few other goodies...

Thanks! Yes, she LOVES it! She saw it before I could wrap it so she just got it early :)
  6. I've been quite around the web for a while, but I have been painting. The first miniature I finished was a Christmas present for my mom. It's Garrity's "Angel of Light" painted in a breast cancer awareness theme for my mom :) Next is a speed paint for my PC in a module my group is currently playing. She's a gnome pyrokinetic :) and Cassie, gnome Wizard is perfect for her. The figure itself was a little rough around the edges in regards to the mold, but I like her nonetheless. She took about 3-4 hours. The next one is a "traditional" bard that is based off a Shakespearean theme I found on colourlovers :) He was a speed paint as well. Finally, the next one is a 54 mm miniature I picked up at the last con I was at. She's from Phoenix Miniatures :) I painted her up to be "Jane Austen-ish" for a dear friend of mine, for Christmas (she and I are both avid fanatics!). I went with a simple color scheme and based her with cobblestone plasticard amongst a colorful flower garden. I gave her the figure today and she loved it :) I'm just glad she liked it!! Enjoy! C&C welcome and appreciated <3 Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, everyone!

    Back with some newbies...

Any idea why my dwarf isn't showing up in the Inspiration Gallery? She's approved, but hasn't been up at all and I posted her up a good bit ago. Also, how does one get the icon for supporting Bones II? :D

    Back with some newbies...

I just got back from taking a brief hiatus. It actually lifted last week after I decided to repaint my level 32 Warblade and a friend commissioned me to paint his character (he tried to pay me... I refused. I hate taking money from friends :) They always get FREE commissions! :D My specialty! I just like seeing them happy :D) Anyway, the first is Freja Fangbreaker (the bone version). This is the 2nd time I've painted this figure; the other being 3-4 years ago. She has an enlarge insert with both an earth magnet in the base itself and in the miniature base. I've been doing the enlarge inserts for a few years now; so much more appealing to the eye than just black bases! Both this and the commission were speed paints.. enjoy! Now here is Broderick Alt Pose, Crusaders Captain. He's my first serious attempt at NMM. It's not great, but pretty good for a first time, I think. I know that I need deeper transitions; but again I had a time crunch. My friend was very particular on the colors and pretty much everything for him. Here he is with his enlarge insert (he's a 32 barbarian warblade). It was pretty nice to dip my toes in again....
