Yeah I tried it with the cheaper miniatures. Was not impress with them. The miniatures details were bumpy and it seems the features of them were smaller then most of the 25mm metal models and even the bones. This new tech. still needs improvement and have the cost low in my opinion.

Thanks for the info you all! I just received a shipment of Rosemary And Company brushes. I ordered a kolinsky size 1 and 3 round of the 33 Series. Also orded a size 0 and 3 Shiraz series, tried these with brush on primer, and they are good. The Shiraz series for synthetic brushes have an excellent snap compare to the golden and white taklon brushes I have tried. Will be using the kolinsky this weekend. Thanks again folk!

Hey folks, was wondering do you all clean your natural (kolinsky) hair brushes with a brush soap (Masters or Pink Soap) after each painting section or just rinse with clean cool water and use the brush cleaner once in awhile. Thanks!

Hi folks, I am needing to get some new skin tone colors. I ran out of Vallejo: Flat Flesh and Medium Flesh. I am suck on choosing either Tanned Skin and Golden Skin tones or the HD Caucasian Flesh and Suntan Flesh. Any ideas would be helpful. THX!

I use a size 4 Rosemary&Co brush for 90% of my PR painting. When I'm doing large, flat areas, however, I prefer a R&C size 3 Short-Flat, although I don't do many big dragons, so you might want to go up to a size 4 (or even 6). They're great brushes - I did a review here, and I know plenty of folks who like them.
I really suggest a nice flat - they're way easier to get coverage with than a PR, and it makes it easy to hide brushstrokes. Plus, if you paint with the long rather than the flat, you can get nice neat lines along flat angles, much neater than you can easily get with a PR, IMO.
Edit: Some do consider my views as to brushes perverse. Just a heads-up.
I was wondering what PR means (is it pure round?). Also do you mean the long flat than a short flat will give nicer neat lines?

I am planning to paint some large miniatures, especially Gauth, and was wondering what type of brush (short flat, long flat, or round) and size to use? Thanks!

Thanks all for the information, this helps out alot.

Plan on purchasing some kolinsky sable brushes, and was wondering if to get 2 sets one for normal paint, the other for metallic paints. However, I heard that metallic paints can ruin natural hair brushes quickly and should use synthetic brush for metallic paints. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

Would like to see the other large or huge dragons in the BONES series: 10006: Gauth (ESPECIALLY Him), 10009: T'Raukzul, 10023: Stormwing, 10014 Cinder, and 10021: Viridius. They would be easy to transport for game night, and less likely to break.

I would like to see any of the old large (huge) dragon models, especailly Gauth!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It would be great if the Bones collection make some of the huge dragons like Gauth out of this plastic. Less weight to carry to game sections.

Randy (Hladir),
PFS is pretty easy to get up in levels quickly. We had new players make it to 3rd level in the span of the con. You only have to play 3 rounds to level. Characters retire at 12th so 4-7 levels seem to be standard "high level" tables. We will plan on doing all 3 of Greg Vaughn's trilogy next year. If you have a group you can home play PFS rounds and follow their guide lines for them to count as PFS rounds. I hope you do get a chance to play sometime in the future, your welcome at my table anytime.
Yeah Rapheal, was wondering what's the starting level of Greg Vaughn's trilogy that you all planning to run next year? So if I need to get one or two characters up in levels if need be. If it is the The Heresy of Man series, I'll make sure not to play it if our gaming group GM runs it. Thanks, Mike J

Howdy All,
I'm still finding out about times but I can tell you what we will be running. Paintmonkey is running Master of the Fallen Timbers its a 1st level only round so a good one to start on. Murder on the Silken Caravan written by Greg Vaughan, Heresey of Man also written by Greg Vaughan, he will GM both of these at some point during the weekend. The other rounds will include Delirium's Tangle, Among the Living and Among the Dead, Murder on the Throaty Mermaid, Penumbral Accords. These rounds in general can be played by most any level's except Heresey of Man. The rounds take 4-5 hours to play so we will probably only slot 2 a day and 1 on sunday. If your very interested in Pathfinder Society you might even talk me into more if time permits.
I am interested in playing pathfinder society. I will be at the Con mostly Thr-Sat. Thanks, Mike

Hey everyone,
I will be running Pathfinder sessions as well this year ...
Pathfinder Module: Master of the Fallen Fortress
The ruined siege castles outside Absalom have long beckoned adventurers looking to make a name for themselves. Now an earthquake has cracked open one of these fabled ruins, and its lost mysteries and fantastic treasures lie exposed for the first time in centuries. But the tower's empty halls once more echo with living footfalls, and a new master has claimed the Fallen Fortress as his own. Can the PCs find a way to get inside its shattered walls? What ancient dangers and fresh threats will they encounter inside its crumbling chambers? And will the PCs be able to defeat the current Master of the Fallen Fortress?
Master of the Fallen Fortress is a dungeon-crawl adventure for 1st-level characters. The adventure involves exploring an ancient, ruined tower and rescuing the captured Pathfinder held within.
Supplies needed: None, All supplies needed with be supplied by the Game Master including pregenerated character sheets.
Was wondering if I could use a 1st level pathfinder society dwarven alchemists and/or inquistor in game? Thanks
Number of players: 2-6
Just bring your sense of adventure! Pathfinder Society credit is optional but if you are new and want to get credit come and check this game out I have everything you will need to get to get started.
