  1. Apologies if this has been asked... Anyone know the size of the griffon? It doesnt have the handy 'included for scale' dude. Thanks in Advance.
  2. Fair enough! Thanks for the response.. (*I was really thinking that if I knew someone like... say Sandra Garrity... was to sculpt this thing I would be that much more inclined to buy it. But who am I kidding, I am buying it anyway (or trading in Sophie for it...))
  3. Signed up for the kickstarter yesterday! Amazingly enough I only just heard about then and couldn't pass up on such an amazing deal. Thanks for that! Just curious if Reaper has lined up a sculptor for this model and they are willing to divulge that information. Thanks in Advance!
  4. TY for that info. Now to wait, or not to wait.....
  5. Any idea with this fantastic mini become available? I have some money burning a hole in my pocket!
  6. TY! Bases were purchased from http://www.back2base-ix.com/.
  7. These are minis from Black Scorpion Miniatures I painted recently and were my first minis after an almost year break from painting. I want to focus on getting back to the basics so nothing fancy to start, just a tabletop clean quality. Focusing clean painting and using white undercoats (*i've always worked from black undercoats in the past), layers, etc... I will slowly work my way up to more complicated things. I really want to step my painting up another notch for my next Warhammer army when I get to it. They have yet to be matted so there is some shine to them. This next guy got a little more attention on his skin and a little less attention on his coat. I need to get some better pics of his bottle - I was going for a bottle with some missing. Didn't entirely get the effect I wanted, but I got close. I'm not overly happy with the sword and plan to redo it at some point. I will also dot the eye, but gosh darn if it isn't teeny-tiny and my hand was not steady enough on the night I wrapped it up. All advice / comments welcome! Cheers Domus
  8. Thx all for the kind words! I am honored to make it into the top ten on my first contest here.
  9. This diorama is so much fun. Love Frankies bag and the werewolf!
  10. Very nicely done - The "manfesting" comes off very nicely,
  11. Thanks all for the kind words. The fig is from the Warlord Line - Gauntfield is his name. This is the first Reaper fig I've ever painted. I own quite a few that I've picked up over the years simply because they look cool. I'm a Warhammer player primarily and getting back into the hobby side after about a year off. The base is made of Cork Leaf Litter - Made from birch seed pods and some died oranges / reds "Shrubs" - from an italian Company Diorama Materials are the bits standing up.
  12. Painted for fun & then I found the contest so I entered him as well. Cheers Domus
