  1. I thought so but my search-fu is very bad so I was hoping to get some basic answers here but links could be helpful too.
  2. I have some white Liqutex basic gesso and was thinking about using it as a primer but I have a few questions that I hope can be answered here. First can it be used and if it can on what materials (plastic, metal, resin)? How durable is it? Does it need to be thinned and if so by how much? If anyone has any insight on these questions or anything I may have overlooked would be very helpful, thanks.
  3. They should be fine. I found a box of paints that I forgot about and left in my Michigan garage for a few years and they were fine.
  4. BBs do rust and split shot introduces lead into the paint for all you brush lickers. Pewter cut offs of minis or glass beads are a better choice.
  5. Ultramarine blue it is then. Now all I need to figure out what company color to go with.
  6. I was thinking about using Sapphire Blue since I already have some. How close would that color be, it's not my army I'm painting?
  7. I’m going to start painting some Ultra Marines for a friend and I would like some advice on what RMS paint colors I should use to get a traditional look for them.
  8. I just recently got a hold of some weathering pigment made by Secret Weapon Miniatures ( http://www.secretweaponminiatures.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=37_19 ) and like them a lot. I was wondering if anyone has any tips and tricks or thoughts on using them.
  9. Is there a list somewhere of painting tutorial videos? If not does anyone know of any good ones out there on the inter-web? I’m not looking for anything specific I’m just trying to get a list of good ones together.
  10. I'm looking for some good hair recipes for platinum blond and anime colors (blue, green, pink, orange & excreta). I looked in the recipe section and couldn't exactly find what I was looking for. As a side note I mostly use MSR paints but have others. Thanks for your help in advance.
