  2. That's fixed, she's back with her Nefsokar compatriots, as we speak. Reaper Ivy Layout Chick
  3. That's a problem with a defective yellow base we had last summer (all of the colors you've listed in this thread). Send a messge to [email protected] and we'll get it replaced for you. :) Reaper Ivy Layout Chick
  4. Wow, I'm glad to see interest. :) And I'll be looking forward to meeting ya'll! Reaper Ivy Layout Chick
  5. Those two miniatures are due to be released in May. The reason you'll occassionally see miniatures painted before their scheduled release is that our distributors request images of releases 4 months in advance of the release, for solicitations to stores, etc. Sometimes we can accommodate this (yay! for sculptors who send in their pieces early/on time!), sometimes a piece makes it in just in time for production. Game Trade Monthly magazine is one place you can see releases in advance, those pictures above headed to them about a week before Anne added them to the gallery. We have one in-house painter, Anne Foerster, and a couple handfuls of painters who we commission from. (Just so's you're not disappoint if you come for a tour, and find only Anne... she'll have been with us a year, this coming April). Hope this helps! Reaper Ivy Layout Chick
  6. This is exactly the class I'm proposing to teach. ;) Afterall, it's what I do! Reaper Ivy Layout Chick
  7. How's May for you? We'll post the green when we have it in hand from Chaz Elliot. I can say, having seen the work in progress when he stopped in last month, you won't be disappointed. (And I can't wait either!) to sum up... 14090 Dark Maiden, sculpted by Chaz Elliot Reaper Ivy Layout Chick
  8. Yes. I've been providing a steady stream of painted miniature photography to Fluid Entertainment for this agreement. What I've seen looks quite nice. :) Reaper Ivy Layout Chick
  9. Alex! It's great to see you've shown your face and shared about how you did that piece. I told you people wanted to hear it from *you* and not someone else. Folks, Alex Glocka is a phenomenal painter. If you ever have a chance to look at his work in person, or speak to him at a convention, you won't be sorry. He's just that cool. Reaper Ivy Layout Chick, and Alex fan
  10. Jay is continually busy, but she does not have help now. She's still presiding over all office chaos. [email protected] is the correct address for these issues. Reaper Ivy
  11. This thread reminded me that my neglected (as in painting, not care) 5/0 brush needed a licking. *lick* Ah, I feel so much better now! Seriously folks, nothing beats a swift draw across the tongue and lips to perfectly shape and condition your brushes into a perfect point. Reaper Ivy Layout Chick and Licker of Brushes

  13. Folk Art Extender and Windsor and Newton Flow Improver are the ingredients in Anne's Magic Wash. Dull Cote is your friend. Reaper Ivy
  14. All in good time... There is only one of me, you know... Reaper Ivy
  15. The updated CAV rulebook will come before JOR3. JOR3, to my understanding, will coincide with the last releases of the vehicles of JOR2... Besides, don't you have Warlord data cards to memorize in the mean time, ya big CAV Math Puppy, you? :P Reaper Ivy
  16. Nope. Don't worry, I'll tell you when it's in my hands to work on. I wouldn't expect it before some time next year. :D Reaper Ivy The Layout Chick
  17. Sorry, both of these dragons far predate my tenure here at Reaper. This auction was over before I even saw the post asking the question... I actually *gasp* took a day off on Friday. :o Best bet would be to keep an eye out for the seller to relist... looks like it closed with no bids. Oh, forgot to mention... It's a Jim Johnson figure. I'd hazard a guess and say the T'Raukzul bonus was likely sculpted by Sandra Garrity. Reaper Ivy
  18. Ok, I have confirmation... This was a limited edition piece that was included in the first 1000 Gauth Box Sets. It was not sold separately. If you wanted one of these, this guys auction was probably a rare chance. They don't turn up very often! As a matter of reference, there was also a figure included with the first 1000 T'Raukzul Box Sets. Reaper Ivy (whatever )
  19. Indeed!! I don't recall that I've ever seen one of your models, Ivy. I look forward to it! :) Dig up posts by me back in late Dec/early Jan... I made the unwise decision of starting with a Sandy Garrity halfing... It's actually kind of amusing, I was inspired... (feel free to bump that thread up if you want, so this one can stay on topic). I believe there are 3 that I've posted. I currently have a model on my desk here that I'm painting as a surprise for a friend, as his character in the MMORPG we play. I need to finish it. :P Reaper Ivy
  20. You're right, it was designed for dispensing columns of colors. It's the rack that we had designed for Pro Paints, and can be either hung or used on a countertop. I use one at home for my personal paint collection, and here's how I have them arranged to minimize the problem you anticipated... I arrange the top rows with the majority of the colors. Each row typically houses a color family, arranged from light to dark, so you'll have rows with greens, blues, reds, purples, yellows, and so forth. The top rack is full. The center and bottom rows, i use to store my lesser used, but more specialized paints. Here I have the metallics, the silks and satins, and inks. You've got (I think, been a while since I counted) 12 across on these racks, so if you do need to stack them, it will be minimally (1-3, tops). Hope this helps! Reaper Ivy (who needs to paint more, it's been a while since I've shared a figure with you guys!)
  21. I'm checking on this. ;) I know a little about it, but I want to double check on the details with Ron first. :) Reaper Ivy
  22. Modification: They are going in to distribution. I don't have a release date for you yet. Maybe we can get them into the Boneyard soonish. :D Reaper Ivy
  23. Jan-May 2004 Trust me, we want it to be GORGEOUS. :) Reaper Ivy (frantic layout chick)
  24. They are taller than halflings. I'll see if I can track down the piece to measure/compare for you. Definitely larger than the warlord familiar fairy. :) Reaper Ivy (fond of naughty fairy as well)
  25. The cut across the back is so that Packaging includes the correct hover stand. The Hover Flight Stand is something like (please don't quote me, I'm just a girl, and flight stands aren't my area of expertise) 3mm shorter than the regular flight stand... Reaper Ivy (Today, in the role of "Answer Girl!" (you did put a heroic announcer voice in there when you read that, right?)
