  1. Thanks, I appreciate your kind words.
  2. Many thanks everyone, I'm happy you like it. It's a fantastic model and it was very fun to paint. I went with green cause for me it's a color that represent hope. It also symbolizes life, fertility, renewal, and resurrection, a suitable color for a paladin.
  3. Hey everyone, here's 03292, Almaran the Paladin sculpted by Bobby Jackson. This is the metal version, it's also available in Bones under SKU 77058 and chibi version sculpted by Gene Van Horne under SKU 77714.
  4. Thanks for your comment everyone. I'm glad you like it. You got good eyes @Grand Slam, there is green, leather brown and even worn olive on the base. I haven't been painting much lately. I started painting Almaran a while ago, I will eventually find time to finish it.
  5. Hey everyone, it been some time since I posted. I managed to complete this one last night. 04006, Arik the "half-orc" barbarian sculpted by Bobby Jackson.
  6. Thanks for your comments everyone. I took a few more group pictures of the creatures of the night, just for the fun of it.
  7. Awesome painting, I love this diorama set and you did an amazing work on all of them. Welcome to the forum!
  8. Awesome work, I like the story and your diorama is very well done. I like how each character has its place in the scene. πŸ‘
  9. Thanks! The skin basecoat was a mix of 09274 vampire shadow, 09239 monarch purple and 29839 maroon red "it’s a dark red like 09133 bloodstain red". I then toned the mix down with 09044 tanned skin and applied a few glazes all the way up to pure 09044 tanned skin for the final highlight.
  10. Hey everyone, here's 02953, Cyclops sculpted by Tim Prow. It stands on a 25mm base and is 40mm tall to the top of the head. I've wanted to paint this model for a long time, it's been patiently waiting on the shelf for months. I finally found time to complete it last night during a late night session. I painted the grass on the base so it would look like orange tundra moss instead of regular green broccoli. What do you think?
  11. Hey everyone, here's 02405, D'Mona the Vampire sculpted by Jim Johnson. I went with true metallic paint on the shield and NNM on the armor.
  12. Thanks everyone, I'm glad you like it. I have another vampire model on my desk right now, which should be finished this week.
  13. Hey everyone, here's 02221, Morrdha the Vampire Wizard and his imp familiar. This Dark Heaven Legends model was sculpted by Bob Ridolfi.
  14. Thanks for your comments everyone. I used 09471 Bright Turquoise and 09014 Grass Green on this one. I then mixed in 09012 Pale Green with the base colors to get the highlight tone. I'm glad you like it.
  15. Hello everyone, this is 02473, Aramil the Elf Sorcerer sculpted by Sandra Garrity. I like the shoulder pads and the way the overcoat is textured. I went with a reddish color for the staff to complement the colors of the clothes.
  16. Great work on the dark skin tone and I like the way you painted the horns.
  17. You did an amazing work on the skin, blood effect and the eyes. πŸ‘
  18. Thanks for your comments everyone, I appreciate them. The effect I was aiming for is a veil of northern lights, a living fabric whose light moves with the cape.
  19. A little magic today! Here is 01402, Magnus the Wizard of Hope. This Special Edition model was sculpted by Werner Klocke and was released as a fund raiser for 9-11 relief. To my knowledge, it was also available on December 11, 2011, December 10, 2013 and December 5, 2014 during the twelve days of Reaper.
  20. Very sharp painting, I like the freckles you added to texture her face and skin. I enjoyed your video this morning while I was painting.
  21. Thanks for your comments everyone, I'm glad you enjoyed the batracians. ✌️
  22. Thanks for your comments everyone. ✌️ Thank you Andrew, I appreciate your reply and I'm glad you like it. It's a good thing your son won the challange, it's alway great to push ourselves a little harder to succed. Plus, we now all get the possibility to paint your amazing iron cobra. If I remember well, I bought my copy in 2011. It sat in the box for a decade, I have too many models to paint and never enough time. I must say, that I am also very happy with the bronze effect on its head. Keep on sculpting/modeling and painting. πŸ™‚
  23. Great work, I like the striped pants and your amazing backdrop as well.
