DKS is amazing that way always helpful, and not mean about it. i think you've done a good job here for a first time working on it OSL. it's a pain to get right.

looks great!though I'd hate to see the crab that crawls out of the shell next to her =P. and i love the sea star in her hair it's different enough to bring attention to it though not so bright as to say holy bleeeeeeeeeep! once again looks amazing.

hey she looks great though if you would like a hint on the "hint of blue with more gray." i found a method that works great for me, paint it the blue that you want to peek out then gray brush over it with the gray will take the center stage and the blue will be muted nicely but still give a good effect. it's hard to use though, as dry brushing is harder to control, and tends to spread to other areas before you know its happened. so there are my two bits hope they are helpful

looks lovely, makes me want to go paint, can't really see alot of details in the eyes though. that is about my only thing i can see, and that is more then likely due to camera rez then anything. everything else is absolutely amazing. makes me feel like i need to improve myself, witch is always a good thing.

hey At Haldir yep you got it right. At Froggy Wow that makes me beam with pride that you want to copy it, that old saying. to be copied is the highest form of flattery. Cut up like six minis to make her it was a lot of fun. the pillar I wanted to make something that would stand out. Kristof, she should have been on a play base that fit snugly into the display base. about where you have it in the picture but the other base she was glued to broke off while i was driving her off to be shipped and i couldn't find it in time before shipping closed for the day so i just sent her off. whoops,forgot to talk about the mini. did a lot of cutting on her the sword is from an old reaper angel fig that i had already cannibalized the wings off of, the back hair is from a spear woman (also reaper) after i cut off her weird little pony tail type thingy, the shoulder to elbow is a skink arm that i thought looked feminine,elbow to hand is her old arm re-glued into a new pose. and the new dagger is off an old dark elf fig i had laying around. the two bits of riboning are from two skaven models i had. the idea was to make a mini that would work with either of the armies that where given me, Crusaders or sisters
