  1. Thank you sir. I use both in equal measure when possible.
  2. I fell in love with this sculpt the first time I saw it. An enjoyable model to work on.
  3. I love this sculpt. So very dynamic. I really wish I had stuck with traditional metals for the swords. I'm not sure why I went this route. I should have gone with the usual metallics with a touch of blood on the weapons. Cliche for Vampire minis I know but It does work I guess.
  4. You're right, I did go a bit too far on the OSL. This was actually my first attempt at it. I've always found the idea a bit daunting. I'll have to get me some more practice and I know just the mini to try it with...
  5. This mini didn't really do so much for me at first but I thought why not paint it up anyway and see what happens. So I did and this happened...
  6. Thank you, and because you asked, I will! Gimme a sec...
  7. Have you ever had a model turn out almost exactly as planned? It almost never happens for me. This model is a rare exception. Comments and critique are welcome.
  8. I was shooting for black and ended up with more of a dark blue. Ah well, i still like it. Comments and critique are welcome.
  9. Sorry, for whatever reason. I didn't take any shots at different angles. Sadly, I sold the mini a few months back so I can't do it now. *sigh*
  10. It took me well over 10+ years to paint this mini. This is one of the models that made me a fan of Reaper Miniatures and one of the first that I ever owned. I have tried time and time again to get it painted and failed miserably EVERY time. It's been paint stripped more times than I can count. I just couldn't do it the justice it deserved. It may not be my best paint job but it is my most satisfying.
  11. This was a real pleasure to do. Fun from start to finish. I regret parting with it. Fortunately I can always paint another one.
  12. Have you ever had a mini that you started painting years ago and never got around to finishing? That is what this one is for me. It's been laying around half finished for about 4 or 5 years. I think the problem was that I couldn't decide on what to do with the armour. I still can't decide if I like it but at least it's finally done.
  13. Thank you! The grass is the standard flock from Games Workshop mixed with a pinch of another brand to darken it a touch. I can't remember what the other brand was.
  14. A commissioned mini for a new friends Pathfinder campaign. It took me a little while to warm up to this mini. I didn't really care for it until I put the final touches on it and took the photo. Now I'm sorry that I have to give it back. I guess I'll just have to pick up another one and paint it for myself...
  15. One of my favourite Reaper models.
  16. You could always transfer the GW paints to dropper bottles. I picked up about 100 bottles of boston dropper rounds (with tops) from US Plastics for about $30-$40, and I've transferred both Pro Paints and Citadel paints (non Foundation) to the bottles. Ron This could work....Would the foundation paints transfer too? I just feel like I waste a lot of paint doing the brush dip method for putting drops onto my palette. I transferred all of my Foundation, GW Washes and P3 Paints to empty Reaper bottles. Smartest thing I ever did.
