  1. All are fantastic. I'm stealing the colour scheme and base on Lysett. I really love that look.
  2. A few more recent minis. Mason Thornwarden, Grundor Hoardtaker (what a name!) and Bryndi Female Warrior
  3. Thank you! As of now she is on the way to the home of a regular client of mine.
  4. Give it another shot. You might surprise yourself!
  5. An old favourite of mine. I've painted this one before and will do so again. I don't normally do metallics like this but I wanted to try out something a little different. This is one of the few times that I've done armour in a NNM style. It's never really been my thing but this mini seemed an appropriate opportunity to expand my horizon a little. I'll push my boundaries a little more and try out battle damaged armour next time around. Baby steps...
  6. It's taken me nearly two years to complete this mini. I'd start a session work on it, hate what I've done and then put it away for months. Rinse and repeat. I'm glad I stuck with it. It turned out alright.
  7. That is good to know about the larger scale models. I wouldn't mind take a shot at a few of them as long as the quality is better than the 30mm models.
  8. Thank you and I completely agree!
  9. I rarely get to paint something that isn't a commission or for sale on eBay. These minis have a future on the game table and as a part of my own personal collection. Knight Models really has a very long way to go when it comes to QA. The sculpts are great but the casting quality... not so much. These were a giant pain in the backside to clean up. I kept spotting imperfections and mold lines even after I started painting. It got to the point where I just gave up and finished them. At the end of the day I'm happy with how they came out.
  10. Very very well done. I'm working on this one myself. She isn't easy to come to grips with.
  11. Great job on the skin. How did you do it?
  12. These are fantastic. You've really brought out the "character" in each one.
  13. This is limited edition? Damn my luck. You did a great job.Love the armour.
  14. I think I've said it before, I love your painting style. Bright and bold colour choices.
  15. Too be brutally honest... the casting quality is AWFUL. As a result assembly can be difficult for certain minis. If you're lucky enough to be able to buy them in person, take time to look them over and make sure you like what you see before committing.
  16. One of my favourite Privateer Press models done to perfection. Amazing.
  17. I started with Reaper Brilliant green then followed that with P3 Necrotite Green and Reaper Neon Yellow. I did some final shading with Minitaire Dark Green. I hope that helps!
  18. Get them. I have them almost finished on my paint table. Great minis but be warned. The casting is spotty at best...
  19. Thank you! He's made by Knight Models for the Marvel Universe mini game. It's all metal and very heavy. Not the easiest to paint but definitely fun.
  20. Easily the most fun I've had working on a model this year...
