  1. This is very cool. I'm sad that I cannot make any conventions this year.
  2. Sturgis will vote to avoid the secret door. That room dealt with Wrath, IIRC.
  3. Sturgis had not used any and has 5/day. So, he has one left. That's good if we get hit in the middle of the night. We can rest and Sturgis will stick with his current spell list.
  4. I will point out my daughter, Pink, who loves everything He who must not be named immediately identified everything. And smiled and giggled at this. Mission accomplished, Doc. A bit of happiness for a child is always a cool thing to share (and it brought a smile to my fact to share with her!).
  5. Sturgis will rememorize the same spells, he'll use his channel energy to heal everyone up to full as needed (feel free to roll DM). Spells:
  6. Yes. Weekend quest: I'll bow out, since my house should likely be burned to the ground. Or nuked from orbit (less the bunker). Siding, two windows, finish a floor, replacing some roofing. more insulation. Adding drywall where needed. Changing "ramps" to steps. Finish supports for the floor. Cover the hidden cisterns.
  7. BB Code yes. The new posting editor is a bit different, so that makes it a bit more difficult, as I used to switch to the bbcode editor version in the old version of the forums. That's okay, because I can still do the code, it's just done directly now. I can also do it in HTML if I need to do so.
  8. Sturgis, smiling after Ma'alik's appraisal, limps along in his usual, semi-rear spot, introducing himself "I'm Sturgis, the one who is trying to keep everyone alive around here. Hopefully, we won't have to test that... too much, especially if it truly is a necromancer." He frowns at the thought given by Greyson.
  9. They phase in Antimatter into matter, causing the two to phase into the same existence, causing the destruction and inevitable disintigration. That's what I always thought (no idea what the actual canonical technobabble is). I think that the explanation given makes more sense than the technobabble.
  10. Darkmeer has a commission. Darkmeer has Bones 3. Darkmeer has a LOT TO PAINT~! Goal is to get back to the brush. Finish the commission and get the Chaos dwarfs from a couple months back done. And OMG soooo many bones.
  11. Hello Galvatron, my old Friend! Love the minis, but the Transformers make it that much more epic. Thank you for making my day!
  12. I'm playing with skin tones on the others. This one is one I absolutely love and you did a great job with it!
  13. While I missed the 7/3 question, this is the exact answer for a lightsaber. I am pro-sword simply because any dolt can use a phaser, but it takes years to master a lightsaber. I have fired 15 fireworks, 19 smokebombs (give or take a few), and a lot of fireworks shows. Including this year, I have missed 5 years of fireworks out of 33 eligible years (first fireworks show was age 3), so 28 shows on the 4th. Counting the multiple show weekends and the non-4th shows (Disney, theme park shows) puts me at 37 fireworks shows for my lifetime.
  14. Sturgis looks to Ma'alik to see his reaction. Although Janalyth's acceptance makes him a bit more at ease.
  15. That looks quiet comfy! I love the brick work under the chairs.
  16. Sturgis frowns at the situation before him, but he understands. "Well, let's get our introductions taken care of, "hellspawn." You don't seem to care much for your former companions, and we have work that must be done. Betrayal seems to be your luck. I do not wish to deal with that while in this horrible place, although there is safety in numbers..." Sturgis is looking to the others, I am trying to open up for the new PC.
  17. I finally get back to the thread and there's so much progress! It's so cool! Love the progress on the backdrops and the people! I love the mushrooms and the crazy lady with her tall mushroom base.
  18. Hopefully no chocolate for the puppies, last I heard, it's bad for them. Then again, @Xherman1964 might become upset if I make that suggestion for his technicolor majesty Also, I'm glad to see you posting more frequently Beagle. I was actually quite sad to see you disappear for a while. I'm going to go hide back in my dark space and get back to painting. Much fun will be had with that.
  19. This is a nice speed paint. It came out well and I think meets your intended goal nicely. I hope your friend likes it! I really like the verdigris color, by the way. Once that hits retail I am definitely getting it.
  20. Honestly, long car rides. Now I really enjoy them, but I really don't mind them at all and find them oddly relaxing (not to sleep, but they are fun to me to drive them).
  21. Answering early for once! Sadly, while I do have a desk, the rules dictate that we do not have personal items at our desks. It was not always that way, but it is that way now.
  22. To drink, I prefer "Northern iced sweet tea" is what I call it. It's not the syrup that they serve at most restaurants (and throughout the southern United States, but a proper tea with a small amount of sugar to just take the bitterness off of it. For food, fresh tomatoes or bell peppers from the garden that day (no refrigeration) are the best tasting foods ever along with fresh-laid eggs. My father-in-law makes a lemon-cake which is awesome with said eggs which is quite tasty (he has chickens). Outside of that, a nice whiskey or bourbon are nice.
  23. The whining of children "I'm boooooooooooooored." After I've taken away electronics and said "GO OUTSIDE!" Summer, in the flatlands, means corn. Corn that is taller than I am. And heat in August that just feels awful (no real airflow unless there is a storm/tornado coming). For foods, when my daughter is not around, means watermelon (she is allergic) and properly ripened honeydew/mushmelon (depends on your area what you call it). And, when we have a garden, it means tomatoes, zucchinis, yellow squash, red peppers, yellow peppers, green peppers, cucumbers, and anything else I decide that's worth planting for a summer crop. This year we will have a truckload of tomatoes to make sauce with throughout the winter. Garden fresh veggies are the best veggies, hands down.
  24. Sturgis will attempt to provide mercy to the one who attempted to slaughter us. "You tried to kill us, what mercy shall we grant that you would have granted us? Sarenrae grants the flame to such as you, but I she also grants mercy. What mercy have you earned?" (This is an attempt at a full surrender he doesn't trust this tengu at all). Diplomacy 1d20+6 = 16 + 6 = 22 Sense motive on the Tengu for a feint: 1d20+7: 6+7= 13 He's also watching for a possible hidden weapon as he goes (perception roll if you would like please). Extra rolls: 13, 8 Crunch
