  1. Interesting - Dragon Trappers Lodge is going to start statting up their releases for One Page Rules. https://youtu.be/9JbLMOKaVoA The Auld Grump
  2. Obviously not for households where one of the cats has a taste for earwax. Wish that I was joking. The Auld Grump. Back when Megan and I were courting, that was my job when her mum decided to try deep fried turkey. It really is delicious, but I tend to be of the low and slow school. The Auld Grump
  3. There are some very good ones for 3D printing. Monstrous Encounters, Roleplaying & Miniatures, and Tytantroll all kind of fit together, well armored and disciplined. But my favorites are the Blackrazor hobgoblins from Artisan Guild. Mostly because they are identifiably goblins. The Auld Grump
  4. The cowgirl is available as an STL - love that figure, the original model was my Warcaster for Warmachine. I was VERY happy to see it available on MMF. The Auld Grump
  5. We've been making our orders one company at a time. We are printing not-eldar for Megan's mum. We have both of the Heroes Infinite sets. The Auld Grump
  6. Next month they start minis for Battle Sisters.... The Auld Grump
  7. This would be less disturbing if he had posted anything since.... The Auld Grump
  8. Sometimes... I run across something that makes me want to run Deadlands... https://youtu.be/y5qZrrovpuw Found the performer in a roundabout way - a post on Quora about Nightwish, which led to The Charismatic Voice on YouTube, which led to a reaction video to the performer's rendition of Monster Mash - which is AWESOME! https://youtu.be/12Sg9efb0hc And the reaction video - because watching an opera singer react to a cover of The Monster Mash is just funny. https://youtu.be/zcK_Id5hcuA Enjoy! The Auld Ggrump
  9. So... there is a RPG tea company? Many Worlds Tavern - not linking, definitely a commercial site, but... tea. (And coffee - but tea is by far the more civilized beverage.) They also have a free 5e D&D adventure on their site. I like it when the world is weird in a good way. Not quite as weird as Old Spice releasing the Gentleman D&D class, but definitely weird. The Auld Grump
  10. Looks like SB had some click bait that blew up in his face. https://youtu.be/kE8DqwjJFx4 https://youtu.be/A-LlxyANXOQ Ah, interweb drama, where would the world be without you? Honestly, SB should have backed down, but instead doubled down, which just added fuel to the flames. The Auld Grump
  11. Conroy was not the first version of Batman that I saw on TV or in film. But, like Hammill's Joker, his became the voice of the character in my head. 66 is too damned young. The Auld Grump
  12. 'We will obviously be using this for terrain - we have PLENTY of minis!' 'FDM is the way to go, it's not like we will be printing minis!' 'I will never get into a game like 40K again, the minis are too expensive!' The Auld Grump
  13. A desktop publisher that I like switched to a 'subscription model' a few years ago. The new version of their software just came out. Buy it once, and works on Windows, Mac, and Mobile... no subscription. I am guessing that they were rather disappointed with the economics of their subscription service. (Affinity Publisher.) The Auld Grump - a spinoff from my longtime favorite Page Plus.
  14. It is easier to hide a virtual pile of shame.... The Auld Grump
  15. Randomness XIX - Paging Doctor Howard, Doctor Fine, Doctor Howard The Auld Grump
  16. I ran across this on John Hartness' Facebook page - Laughed... and then realized that I have the STLs for both of the models used to create that.... The Auld Grump
  17. Until tonight, I had never heard of the band Kirby Krackle... Now... I really want to run Villains & Vigilantes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ihISbojsvY&feature=share&utm_source=EJGixIgBCJiu2KjB4oSJEQ The Auld Grump - the original, where you try to create yourself as a superhero with random powers.
  18. Oh, dear... (And already a member of the Patreon. 😛 ) The Auld Grump
  19. One of our players prited up the OPR plague daemons at half scale - for vegepygmies. They... work. Nothing that I can say, beyond, yeah. leafy vegepygmies. The Auld Grump - probably high in Vitamin C....
  20. Archvillain has a 70% off sale on MMF, right now -coupon code 3YEARBIRTHDAY The Auld Grump
  21. A gasp of surprise. One Page Rules has hit their goal, so Patrons will be gettibf the 70% coupon. Again Still. Not complaining, at all. I am impressed that they are still holding to what might be thought of as a way too reasonable point for triggering the discount. (To be fair - it works. Really, really well. We are working our way through yet another army....) The Auld Grump - then again, for years the creator had been pretty much doing this as a non profit - his goal is not to make a wheelbarrow of dosh.
  22. Not quite, but... Alternately - you might be able to cobble a carriage for it. The Auld Grump
  23. In my defense... Yeah, I got nothin'. (It looked worse that night - it felt worse the next day. And I still disagree that the doctor 'found an old bullet wound' - pretty sure I would remember that.) The Auld Grump
  24. Blame the power loader in Aliens. Which at least had the excuse of not being intended o be used as a weapon.... I actually kind of like these dwarfs, but will be using them as a loaner force. The Auld Grump
