    Orc Warband Collectors by Yedharo

Big update from Yedharo today, finally explaining where they were at with production. Turns out they've had quite a few issues with turning renders into production models/molds that have required multiple iterations before they have been able to get to a suitable standard. Seems the bigger the model, the more challenges they're having. Sounds like the 32mm stuff is pretty much what's gone out so far. It's good that they finally came out with this information as it was getting frustrating seeing some folks getting models and them stating that everything was going to ship, and not seeing anything.
  2. I was in on the Chibi project they did earlier this year and it was delivered on-time and the quality was good. This looks like an interesting assortment of figures, including good deals on bunch of Heartbreaker stuff! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/674003445/impact-miniatures-presents-the-lost-ks-mini-projec?ref=friends_launched Their synopsis: Not All Minis go to Heaven Impact! believes that lost and forgotten or unmade miniatures shouldn't stay lost to the hard drive abyss they've been relegated to. Whether they were from discontinued lines, failed or undelivered projects we think they deserve to be resurected, brought into the light, and that's why this project is dedicated that end. Today we give you a chance to get minis that are either no longer available, or never made it the light of day. Over the past year Impact! has reached out to different Kickstarter Creators whose lines of miniatures failed to fund, were never got delivered or finished, or simply were discontinued after an initial printing run. We've licensed or outright purchased everything shown in this project and now all that is left raise the capital for molds and materials and bring these amazing miniatures to backers to you, your friends, and your families and for gamers on tables everywhere!
  3. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/674003445/chibi-siblings-of-conflict-miniatures?ref=friends_launched About The siblings of conflict are here! Attack! this interstellar army of hardboiled girls are ready to conquer your tabletop! Assemble unique squads with powerful weapons, led by brave leaders. They're cute, they're rowdy, they are the siblings of conflict! STRETCH GOALS We're planning amazing, unique hero characters, and more! Surprises await! New Stretch Goals will appear as the campaign advances! Chibi miniatures! Chibis are adorable characters that have lately have made a splash in the boardgaming and miniature community with games such as Super Dungeon Explore, Arcadia Quest, Ninja All-Stars and many others. They're also featured in collectible figurines and in other geeky paraphernalia. This is the NINTH Chibi KickStarter run by Impact! Miniatures and Impact! is partnering with Märchen to bring you some incredible, new Siblings of Conflict chibi miniatures along with sci-fi allies & enemies for them to combat! The funding goal will pay for the sculpting & 3-D printing of the miniatures. The Miniatures ALL miniatures in this KickStarter are provided unpainted. Unless otherwise stated after the name of the miniature, all miniatures offered with this KickStarter will be high quality 3-D prints done on a top end 25 to 50 micron printer (you should not see print lines after priming and paint). As stretch goals are reached we will unlock additional sculpts. The miniatures will require light clean up, being primed before painted and might need some assembly (although we will do our best to keep the figures with as few pieces as possible). You can use your reward dollars to get any of the miniatures in the listing above. Miniature Quality While many of the miniatures in this KickStarter will be 3-D printed, the quality will be a very high level since they are 25 to 50 micron 3-D SLA prints which are very different than ABS prints. Below is an extreme close -up example of a printed figure and how it shows no print lines when primed and painted (with no other prep work). Many thanks to Yeji Kim for her painting of Vanguard Leader Anna (top row) and Jason Turner for the painting of Vanguard Leader Anna and Vanguard Trooper #3 (bottom row)! Shipping Shipping will be charged in the pledge manager after the project. At this time we are estimating $5 for US backers, $13 for Canada and $17 for Rest of World. Shipping of the KickStarter will be EU Friendly and should not incur any customs fees.

SWAG Bags for sale when? If?

In years past, they were a general purchase item thru the store. Last year they were severely limited in quantity and the time they were available and I missed the window. Any word on how they're going to handle them this year?

    River Widows figure size

Was there a story somewhere as to the size difference between the Iconic River Widows figure and the others? Half Giant or somesuch? Just curious since I just got my order with paints and some of the Con figures and she's got to be 50% larger tan the others! Thought she was 54mm for a sec.

    Blacktooth Terror 17334

Well, sounds like a good excuse to pick up another one! This one looks quite lovely in green.
  7. Stumbled across this and though some of you might find it of interest: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/wetaworkshop/d9-the-boardgame If nothing else the figures look pretty cool! $99 for the core game + $25-30 for shipping might make it too rich for my blood, but I'll have to see what my finances look like in a couple of weeks.

The plane boss? Plane in Swag bag.

Yeah, Warlord shipped about 800 planes for the swag bags. 400 F4U Corsairs & 400 Fw190. I'll have to talk to Jon about making sure they're packaged with something so people know where they come from next year. It's great to provide content, it's a lot more useful from a promo perspective if people know where it came from (and where to get more)!

    Bombshell Medieval Maelee

    Looks good from here!

    Bombshell Medieval Maelee

Pretty sure this is called Medieval Maelee. It's the one he only sells at Cons. I look forward to watching your progress on this!

Your Kickstarter list. How you doing?

It's been a good run in the last ~month since the last update! Delivered from the last update: Warehouse 13 board game, Impact Miniatures Chibi Sisters of Conflict, and Bombshell Babes IV (months before the Dec estimate). Still going: Antenocities Workshop IMF vehicles: a year late. Still posting occasional updates, and the retail side of the company is still limping along. Have started production on a few of the models from the KS, so hopefully I'll get something out of this Gangfight: generic rules: six months late. Still sending out rules for playtesting?! Getting to the point where I'll write off my $20, and if something shows up eventually, swell. Tabletop Village - Three months late. They have now changed to say the delivery was always supposed to be September, not May as was shown in the KS, so they aren't actually late?! Uh, okay... Orc Warband by Yedharo - 2+ months late, now calling for everything shipped this month. Supposedly have started delivery, and some folks have stated they've received theirs, nothing has changed on my order. Dwarf Miniatures by Yedharo - Dec 2019. Only backed for a few figures. Hopefully they have their stuff more together and deliver better than the Orc KS! Gatefall: Chapter One - Jan 2020. Got this for the figures. We'll see how it goes. Mantic Terrain Crate II - Jan 2020. Desert of the Dead - March 2020. Backed for the minimum, but expect to add more in the PM as funds become available.

    Reapercon Report

Would there be interest in Terrain vendors (Warsenal, Things from the Basement etc...)? How's Reapers relationship with Secret Weapon? Litko Basing Systems has a ton of interesting stuff...

    Reapercon Report

In the FWIW category, Warlord was there because Ed talked to him at AdeptiCon earlier this year and convinced him to come down, since he lives in OKC. He said he did really well, and will definitely be back next year. I guess y'all just about cleaned out his stock of Lucid Eye figures! I told him I though they'd do well at this Con! Fates willing, I'll be helping man the booth next year.

Tips For Entering Reaper Painting Competitions

I would say don't stop caring about making work that makes you happy, but stepping back from the pursuit of medals might not be a bad thing. In the end, what we do is an art form, so there's always a subjective/taste element to any judging of it. At the end of the day if you've painted a subject you enjoy, to a standard you'll be happy to look at on your shelf, that's the goal. It's a hobby and it's supposed to be fun. Maybe even relaxing! Forcing yourself to paint subjects you don''t like in a style you don't enjoy is pretty much as far from fun as I think you can get. FWIW, I really like your figures. There have been a number of times I've opened one up and gone "Wow"!

Tips For Entering Reaper Painting Competitions

In my opinion, your stuff has great 'Pop' to it, with lots of high contrast that grabs the eye, but it lacks finesse in the transitions, and smaller details aren't done to the same level and effect. FWIW, the first dragon has a honking big mold seam running down the tail that would be an automatic downgrade in a competition.

    Forever Myths Fallen Maidens

These look interesting! Not sure the budget is there, but I'll keep an eye out. I like that if you go for the 75mm figure they give you the 32mm one as well.

SWAG Bags for sale when? If?

It IS September, so I'd expect that you would.

SWAG Bags for sale when? If?

If you go to New Releases it looks as though all the Con figures, and the Pathfinder paints are available right now, but no Swag Bags.

    ReaperCon 2019 pictures!

Seems like Proctor somehow got his hands on a bunch of these and is using them for his shaded metallics class? Pretty sure he was the one who posted pictures of a bunch that were primered up.

You don't want to give Reaper your money for creating these? Or you just don't like any flavor of Bones?
