    Ribbons

</MOD> Well, that didn't take long... There weren't even ribbons for it. Maybe there needs to be a "Deleted!" ribbon.

Nope. I can't even remember if this supplier is the exact same one we used the first time. I do like that you can put clip art on them. :D

Only if it cannot have an innocent explanation as well. ;)

Not that there is a need for consistency, but do you recall the font/scale that was used for the official ribbons?

So you are committed to attending next year then? Committed to attending, committed for attending, committed while attending, committed after attending .... So many prepositions, so little time. Sounds like there will be a "Committed" ribbon.

In the past most of us advertised on the forums in advance, but I know I, for one, got lazy when the schedule went up early and people could actually register in advance. I had though that Reaper had kind of taken care of the promotional end. Now, that said, I had a full table for every slot.
  7. Denton is, for all intents and purposes, Little Austin, and rapidly becoming far more hip. We are in the top places to live on several national records.
  8. Which is the best reason for people to bring their own and have even more secret agendas. I'm just wary of anyone who has the "Riddle" ribbon: "Where do you get that ribbon?" "What have I got in my pocket?"
  9. My browser has been crashy all day. I may have been overexcited with my clicking.
  10. I've already started a list in my phone of ribbons I need to make next year. ;)
  11. I'm an easy match because, unlike most of you, I look exactly like my avatar. I'm pretty easy to spot in Loim's photos.

I don't think this would help for the squatter issues others were having. It might even make squatting a necessity imo. We signed up for several games and only did a handful because by the time we got to the table (5 mins early btw) the table was packed and it's hard to be "those people" that show up "late" even if you are early. Hell we got to your table right on time and thankfully you reserved the last two for us, or at least we were lucky enough to have them available. Btw, Doc Bedlam's lumberjack grabbing my shrieking wife and tossing her into the lumber mill is still a highlight for us. I think if there is going to be a pre-registration for games, then those who register need to receive a ticket or receipt that confirms that they are in the game. Game masters then need to check tickets before they start and confirm that everyone who has a ticket is in the game. There, of course, would be a cutoff, say 5 minutes after the hour to then allow squatters to join in. This is pretty much how it's done at GenCon and it seems to work out pretty well for them. That said, and I may be repeating myself, I had no one come up to my game and declare that they were pre-registered. I honestly don't know if anyone had a reserved slot at my table, but I know all of my spots on the schedule were listed as "unavailable." If people pre-registered, I didn't know anything about it.

This is absolutely true! The best "alternative" use I've seen for ReaperBucks so far was for in game bonuses. GMChris ran a Star Wars game two years ago that allowed you to buy extra, black market goods for your character with ReaperBucks before entering into the module. I thought it was brilliant, and knowing that I would not have enough bucks to be competitive in the auction, I was more than happy to throw in for some upgrades. In this theme, I would love to see ReaperBucks used as a sort of currency for bonuses, advantages, or even special favors in games and activities around the con.
  14. This is one of the most infamous Reaper Gaming stories. And he knows what he did, he's not guilty.
  15. It's not much to share, but I did take a few (8) photos at the con. https://flic.kr/s/aHsjXGKtS7
  16. Loim took a bunch of photos and posted them http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/54608-reapercon-2014-loims-photos/ So now that the con's over, we non-attendees are curious and want more pictures.I took a whopping 8 photos... https://flic.kr/s/aHsjXGKtS7
  17. It sounds to me that I'm going to have to get the whole story from ReaperBryan.
  18. Mmmmmm...Monty Python style space soap operas... That may be just a bit too silly. ;) Too silly for Fiasco? Seriously? Fiasco engenders it's own silliness without forcing additional silly upon it. It comes too close to Insilliyeption if you go too far with it. Better to have a fairly straight scenario as the "straight man" for us to all corrupt with our own innate silliness.
  19. I had the same amusing, and equally unlikely thought.

    A personal thanks

I missed them because I hadn't eaten lunch yet and didn't want to spoil my appetite. By the time I got back, they were all gone. :(

  22. Hmmm, I'll have to see if there's an appropriate Fiasco Playset for the new theme, and if not, I have some research and writing it do.
  23. I am so glad I decided to stay late to host this. I'm fairly certain this will be a regular "unofficial" event from here forward. Please do, it was a lot of fun. I'm sorry for the larger party the last night though. It was totally worth losing my voice over!

  25. If it involves Fiasco, I'm there to win em all. There will be at least one Fiasco ribbon, if just to be a self-promotional effort.
