  1. You know, if you're like me and prefer to have your personal picture be yourself, those banners would make GREAT sig file images. ;)
  2. You work the total out, yourself, pick the "core" reward level and then just enter an amount above that. At the end of the project, you will receive a survey that will allow you to specify exactly what you want for your extra money. For example, I bought in at the Vampire level, but I want the giants. So I click the Vampire level in the right hand column of the Kickstarter page which sets my initial pledge to $100, and then I manually increase the pledge to $110, knowing that I need the extra money for the giants. Later on, as additional optionals are revealed, you can then go in to manage your pledge and increase it further as needed.
  3. I'll be honest, I'm really excited to see the paint bottle gravestone revealed.
  4. Well, I'm more than willing to sell a Sophie to anyone who is buying in at a level that does not include her in order to bump my buy-in to the Vampire level. Just let me know. You can PayPal me the $25 and we can make it happen.
  5. I would love it if there was a Ghast+Mummy+Stretch goals level. It may be sacrilegious for me to say so, but I really don't care to have a Sophie, but I really want the plastics and the stretch goals. Come on, how about a Draugur level?
  6. I have to assume that everyone over the $7 level gets the forum badge... I didn't notice it when reading the Kickstarter.
  7. I actually have access to an indoor, climate controlled spray booth at work. I may just use that.
  8. So last night I got the primer back off successfully. Unfortunately, it also took one of the axes off so I'm back to repair work on that. No new photos today, but I did get the axe reassembled with a new hand (the old one was damaged beyond repair in the "axe-ident"). I'll be reapplying green stuff tomorrow to touch up the new conversion work and then back to primer.
  9. No kidding, right? I just don't want to end up undoing everything else just to repair the primer. Too bad I don't have an indoor spraybooth for the two minis I paint annually. ;)
  10. I did the priming this weekend and ended up with a gritty coat. Tonight I'm going to try to clean it down without losing the joints or filling.
  11. I finally got to work some green stuff into the gaps and seams. A little more sanding and he'll be ready for priming. photos by Kacey3, on Flickr
  12. This is the kind of stuff that I find awe-inspiring and almost disheartening. This is so fantastic I could never dream of being this good. Well done!
  13. Thanks for the compliment. It took me a while to get the left arm just right, but I'm really happy with it now. I'm not really that good of a painter, and I'm years out of practice. I wouldn't expect too much.
  14. Maybe we should have a post of all the "personal events" that will occur during the span of ReaperCon. Kind of a "ReaperCon Celebrates..." deal.
  15. Thanks Jordan, it was touch and go for a while, but once everything was drilled, pinned, and reassembled, it started to look pretty darned good. I'm still nervous to prime it, it always makes my cuts and scrapes so much more obvious.
  16. So I decided to see if I could make an axe throwing pirate and started with Anatole. I went through all of the weapon kits and almost every character wielding axes in the Reaper catalog and finally decided the axes in the Camp Accssories pack were the best size and shape. I salvaged a hand from some elven warrior I had laying around and started chopping and reassembling. I need to get into some of the cracks with some green, but otherwise, I'm pretty happy with the progress so far. I will update when I get it greened and primed.
  17. Now if only we can figure out the logistics of getting authorized to do that next April.
  18. I will likely be going with something like this:
  19. Should we agree to team up if they've got pilsner glasses again, next year?
  20. I'll be at GenCon, but only Thursday and Friday. Speaking of which, anyone got a place to crash Thursday night? Since we're only going for two days, and my brother only lives 45 minutes away, we had planned to drive down each day, but crashing locally would be so much easier.
  21. That one is kind of a cheat... it's me at home, immediately after the con.
