  1. Oh hell no. Get off my corner, buglips, I've already got the whole "body selling" thing going for me.
  2. Imagine what your table mates would do if you trotted out a Spidney? Now I want one of those too. I'll house it with my longterm arachnid/equine wish, the Spidercorn.
  3. I'll start selling off vertebra, since my kidneys are spoken for! I don't expect them to get Boned. Not many people like spiders.
  4. Yeah, they're AWESOME. I have long pined for them, but I couldn't really justify the prices. Hopefully they'll get the Bones treatment.
  5. Lika these? http://www.reapermin...niatures/Spider http://www.reapermin...er/latest/03180 http://www.reapermin...er/latest/03049 Yup. Not as into the driders, but I wouldn't kick them out of bed. I already have dupes of a few, like the terrantulas, swarms, and Miss Muffet was one of my first minis ever... but what's a few more spiders? It's just like my real critters, I can't stop at one.
  6. I like all the choices, it'll be cool to see how it comes out.
  7. Oh, I take that back. I liked Pally's suggestion over on the Conjecture topic, I believe. Less driders, though, but more spiders. Giant dragon sized tarantulas, huge spindly daddy-long-legs, enormous arachnids, medium sized dungeon spiders, little pet familiar ones. A large assorted spider army. That would make me infinitely happy.
  8. Hmm. This is a lot of thinking. Or I could hit "roulette" for everything...
  9. At this point, I don't even have any more wishes. I'm just happy to be part of it.
  10. Oh good...I wasn't going to say this out loud, but you already did. When I got my first Bones load when they came out, this is exactly what I was thinking. I used to collect them obsessively. I had to hide them from my mom because she thought they were obscene. Hah? How were they obscene? Aside from being kind of vaguely flesh toned? Hell, I STILL have some of them... Bingo! She didn't understand them, didn't get why they were fleshy toned. Thought they were for boys only. I wasn't allowed to play with action figures either.
  11. I say jump right in and start painting. Look at all the pinned topics here for links, tutorials, articles. That's how I learned. You can use thinned paint on Bones, but not for the first coat. The water makes it bead, but once you have a layer of the un-thinned paint down, or Testor's Dullcote (which is to me, one of the most useful things ever) you can paint it exactly as you do metal, so I say go for it, paint the ones you have. Mini painting is one of the places where you can see remarkable improvement with relatively little practice. It's great to line up your first kobolds and rats and look at how much better each one looks than the last. In short: All the technique. Just do eet!
  12. For the record, I love lurking on WIP threads, but I never really know what to say. I'm such a shabby painter, I just like looking and going "oooh." It makes for poor conversation, though.

  14. I darkine around skin, and in contrasting light-dark areas, but not everywhere. I also use a dark brown, and try to make it super subtle. I like buglips' cartoony style, and have been contemplating experimenting with a heavy black line, on a mini or two.
  15. I threw my tattoo money in. Not sure whether to be happy about that, or sad. That tomb better rock my whole world.
  16. I wouldn't rule that out, yet. There still could be a "quantity" reveal. Something like the orc horde. The Dungeon Horrors would be cool for that.
  17. This is a great WIP, I like the cartoony style of heavy black lining, all my minis are painted for heavy gameplay, and for viewing from tabletop distance (which is why I don't show them off...) I may try your style of lining. You've got me experimenting! I also like the look of the contrasting colors. My favorite edition is 2nd. The only D&D where "Sixteen daggers to the eye" is do-able. I miss oWoD, too.
  18. I just did that! I didn't even notice the comment section over there, till you mentioned it, holy cats, that's a lot of talking.
  19. You have to register, but it's fast. Like any message board, really.
