  1. A fruit cart - the kind we see smashed through in every Hollywood chase sequence. Modern cars - preferably in Bonesium to make them affordable.
  2. Has anyone on here ever tried to paint up minis using nothing but gradients from black to white - as if they're from a B&W photo? Any tips or advice? 'cause I've got a project I'm about to undertake that is going to take me completely out of the Technicolor world.
  3. Are you keeping enough water in your wet pallet? I've found that if the edges of my paint are drying, then the paper in my pallet is drying, too.
  4. I'd say it varies by model. If assembly is going to create difficult to reach places, I'll paint and then assemble. If assembling won't make painting a hassle, then I'll assemble. Of course, I'm one of those weirdos that read instruction manuals thoroughly before playing a new game.

I said, "Oh, a bunch in different sizes ranging from wee to not so wee to "Sweet Mother of Monkey Milk, we're fighting WHAT???"
  6. Bryan, Thank you for your dedication to this project! I've very glad to hear you were able to reschedule your vacation. You've been completely open with us through this whole project and have set the bar by which I measure all other Kickstarters' communication now. Also, thank your family for us, for loaning you to us for this enormous undertaking.
  7. Pay close attention to your local recycling rules. Case in point: Avondale, AZ (a suburb of Phoenix) accepts plastics 1 - 7 for recycling - except for plastic bags, regardless of type. So, double check with your municipality before putting your bags in with your recycling.
  8. In the Phoenix area, take the bags to your local grocery store and look for the Bag Central Station bin. All the big grocery store chains (Albersons, Basha's, Food City, Fry's, Sprouts, IGA, Wal-Mart, etc) are participating in this program to recycle plastic bags. For those outside the Phoenix area, check with your local stores to see if an equivalent program exists in your area.
  9. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get in on this one. I wanted to, though. Have to wait and see when it hits market.
  10. At this point, I've sold enough stuff on eBay in the last week to pay for my Showdown pledge. Hoping the last few items sell well enough to support some add-ons.
  11. I will likely jump in on this . . . but not just yet. I'm going to see how it develops. (In the meantime, I'm going to put some gaming stuff I have up for sale on eBay to generate some cash for this.)
  12. Incredible work so far! I'm looking forward to seeing this one finished.
  13. You've done some great work here. I would go deeper on the shadows, just for some extra emphasis.
  14. I was showing a young pony fan these pictures last night. She was quite impressed!
  15. Mine arrived a couple of days ago. I'm starting with Raven Skye and the little gremlin girl.
  16. I'd love to see all three generations get made, because I always like the Logans. But I'll probably focus on building a Zentraedi army. (And I'm with Buglips on the decals. That sounds like a ready made stretch goal.) I just wish they'd get the trigger pulled on this KS.
  17. A wedding party: Bride, Groom, Bridesmaids & Maid of Honor, Groomsmen and Best Man, Flower Girl, Ring Bearer, and the ever dreaded Mother of the Bride. (My wife's best friend is getting married this weekend and asked me to paint the cake topper for the cake, so I've got weddings on the brain at the moment.)
  18. Yes! A goalie, and a variety of player poses. Hmmm . . . we may need to invent a game system for these minis.
  19. Should I be worried that what Buglips said almost made sense to me?
  20. I thought I sensed a Torg revival somewhere in the fabric of reality . . .
  21. Bob, I've considered converting the shepherd by replacing the staff in his hand with a sling. I just need a good giant to be Goliath.
  22. My family will be praying for your mom, Bryan.
  23. I've found I get an easier drop from the Reaper bottles by holding them on their side. If you're holding them upside down to get the drop, air has a harder time getting in to allow the flow.
  24. Does the brush end up on the floor, dropped while you fumble with the switch-out, leaving you to desperately scramble for it before the paint dries, only to slam your head into the underside of your paint desk as you come back up, which causes you drop the miniature you were working on, leading to pinned on bits disappearing under your desk, never to be seen again? Because that always happens to me when i try two-brush blending. I think this deserves a tutorial video.
