Running outta room! 20 minis takes up a lot of space! :P

I was hoping to pick and choose $100 worth of minis and get everything I needed. Not working! This will easily cost me $300 before it's over. It's getting scary to think about how many minis I want considering how many I already have.

Yeah I'm sitting at $500 because I know when Tiamat and other surprises hit I'm gonna be like, budget-what?!?

Paint! Paint! Paint!

Sounds a lot like my Super Dungeon Explore game. Putting the things together and removing flash and mold lines is so tedious.

On Wyrmgear the lines are too large to file with a sanding needle, so I'm literally using an exacto and sliced into my finger last night.

Ouch! Yeah, that's definitely way worse. Hope it wasn't too deep. >_<'

It's a mystery that something like that hasn't happened to me yet.

No ReaperCon for me :'( I will totally paint with ya in spirt though :-)

Yeah, I'm pretty bummed. Can't justify expense. If the hubby was even remotely interested in painting. Despite my best efforts.

Haha I wish! I've just found that doing what I was doing with sacrificing sleep to get in more painting time was killing me at work b/c on less sleep I just don't have the same level of patience for dealing with patients and families...so I'm trying to find a better balance despite working more to prep for the holidays.

You could teach painting therapy to your patients...

But really, I know the feeling, between my son, my new wife, work and studies, I bearly have time to do a 15 min painting every week.

Take your time. Read a book, go see the movies, play games... This is a hobby, take a time apart from it and sooner than you realize you will be eager to do "that dragon over there".

I've just been really busy with other life stuff that is taking immensely more stress off my plate than say..painting and ignoring the 'to-do' list would..ya know?

Oh cool, thought you might be doing some other contests as there are a few out right now on various blogs and sites. Looking forward to seeing your sci-fi and giant entries. Still working on my sci-fi diorama, haven't started on the giants stuff yet.

I'm actually pretty lazy and Reaper is the only site I really post work or post at in any constructive way. I got off social media last fall simply b/c I was just over trying to keep up with everything going on out there. Here at Reaper, almost everything that matters to me shows up here in discussions.

Cool, we all are motivated in different ways and the Reaper forum is one of the best places around.
