  1. Hasslefree Mawes? Or if they are smallish Lesser Mawes buckyball
  2. Any chance of a Fall Exchange? buckyball
  3. Last month I did very little to finish projects. So in November I plan to: Finish the Knight I started in October for Rangers of Shadow Deep Paint the 3 remaining Hasslefree minis which I didn't get to last month Paint this month's Mithril Miniature I also had the set back of buying 3 more Mithril miniatures. So I will NOT buy anymore minis until December My hobby goals for 2020 include: Painting more miniatures for Rangers of Shadow Deep and Frostgrave games (24 so far) Entering at least two miniature painting contests (and the monthly Frostgrave contest) -Check! Painting some sci-fi minis for the game Slipstream (20 so far) Painting the seventeen figures in my annual box (1 remains) Painting a Mithril miniature each month [On track with 11]
  4. These are very nicely painted. I also like the one eyed cat. It could pass as Greebo buckyball
  5. I also am looking at this as filler crew for the Reaper bones ship. But their fulfillment date is Oct of next year. So assuming the dates are correct, the Bones ship will come out early next year, then I would have to wait several months for the crew. I am tempted to pass on the kickstarter and just buy a box of plastic pirates when they are available from retail. In the meantime I think I can paint up enough pirates to use the bones ship in games at conventions next summer. I already have many of the Reaper pirate figures painted and like two packs of Foundry pirates from a long time ago. buckyball
  6. In keeping with my long term goals for the year in October I plan to: Paint one more soldier for Rangers of Shadow Deep Paint a character miniature for D&D Paint my last four Hasslefree figures Paint this month's Mithril miniature Vote early in this year's election My hobby goals for 2020 include: Painting more miniatures for Rangers of Shadow Deep and Frostgrave games (22 so far) Entering at least two miniature painting contests (and the monthly Frostgrave contest) -Check! Painting some sci-fi minis for the game Slipstream (20 so far) Painting all the figures in my annual box (2 remain) Painting a Mithril miniature each month [On track with 10]

  8. Trireme is probably the best. But good luck finding it. buckyball
  9. I have a copy of the original. The version I had hoped to get was the one released in Spain. But that didnt happen. buckyball
  10. In keeping with my long term goals for the year in September I plan to: Paint some more terrain for Rangers of Shadow Deep Paint the last four figures in my Anno Domini 1666 core game Paint two more sci-fi miniatures Paint this month's Mithril miniature And I have as a personal gaming goal, to run Rangers of Shadow Deep on Reapercon Online. Check! My hobby goals for 2020 include: Painting more miniatures for Rangers of Shadow Deep and Frostgrave games (22 so far) Entering at least two miniature painting contests (and the monthly Frostgrave contest) Painting some sci-fi minis for the game Slipstream (20 so far) Painting all the figures in my annual box (5 remain) Painting a Mithril miniature each month [On track with 9]
  11. Very cool eyes. I have quite a few of the chibi style minis. I really need to paint them up sometime. buckyball
  12. The Frostgrave painting contest is on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=2867185660048521&set=gm.1579258312253946 Good luck with your Oiliphant buckyball
  13. I have an ok photo of the little man with his hands on his hips. He is supposed to be a garlic farmer, from New Zealand. I bet that if you posted a photo of him it would be 'Epic'. The werewolf was my Reaper contribution to the exchange. My messy painting style works best on furry things. I am very happy you like them. buckyball (who is relieved you finally got the package)
  14. I played Dark Conspiracy for quite a while years ago. But we had converted the game to the Hero System. Our GM was more comfortable with it. It was a lot of fun. I have also run Dark Matter. The scenario was called the Killing Jar. It was pretty well written, but unsatisfying at the end. I think the best source material for this genre of game, is modern day Call of Cthulhu. I have run many CoC games which had been quite fun. The only downside of playing in a modern (sort of realistic setting) is that people's personal feelings on current subjects may effect game play, as well as player's political views. buckyball
  15. Is it the responsibility of the sender or the receiver to photograph the minis? (asking for a friend) buckyball
  16. My exchange is in the mail. buckyball
  17. You might consider female Jaguar knight from Paymaster games.
  18. Would anyone be interested in splitting a set of these. I am mainly interested in 17th-19th century figures. I probably would paint the Macedonian and the Persian, but when would I use them? buckyball
  19. I had hoped to be running multiple games of Rangers of Shadow Deep at conventions this summer. But due to the Covid-19 pandemic they were all cancelled or switched to online. So keeping in mind what I had wanted to do in August I will: Paint another monster for Rangers of Shadow Deep Paint six gnoll tents for the Ghost Stone campaign Paint the last Polish hero for Anno Domini 1666 Paint Ming the Merciless for Slipstream Paint this month's Mithril miniature. I also have to finish my exchange miniature for the summer exchange. And I have as a personal gaming goal, to run Rangers of Shadow Deep on Reapercon Online. So far so good. I am supposed to be listed on Warhorn My hobby goals for 2020 include: Painting more miniatures for Rangers of Shadow Deep and Frostgrave games (22 so far) Entering at least two miniature painting contests (and the monthly Frostgrave contest) Painting some sci-fi minis for the game Slipstream (18 so far) Painting all the figures in my annual box (6 remain) Painting a Mithril miniature each month [On track with 8]
  20. My WIP is under the spoiler bar below. buckyball
  21. These may work for my Anno Domini 1666 game. Plague doctors were around in the 17th century and that is the time period of that game. The only snafu is that the figures for that game are 25mm and these might look big. But we could say the bulky costumes make them look that way. I just have to come up with a scenario that uses them. buckyball
  22. The pulp sci-fi miniatures from crooked dice would work pretty well. Buckyball
  23. The figures arrived. They are very nice. Thank you Marineal Buckyball
