  1. Had a pleasant surprise when I dragged myself in from work tonight, a 22 pound box from Texas. All the more surprising because I never received any emails at all. Of course, I never received any emails from the previous Bones Kickstarter, either. For the record, I'm wave 2, USA, so I suppose that I'm one of the lucky few who managed to get in under the wire before the hard working Reaper switched to ROW. I haven't had time to do any unpacking whatsoever, but the packing slip matches my pledge manager exactly. 2013 Core Set x1 Gnolls & Bugbears x3 Shambling Dead x3 Dungeon Decor x3 Sylvan Creatures x4 Dragon Hatchlings x2 Mister Bones x1 Narthrax Dragon x1 Lords of Darkness x1 Unleash the Kraken! x1 Oh, Rats! x1 Heroes and Villains x1 Gelatinous Cube x2 Water Elementals x3 Hill Giants x1 Dungeon Decor x4 Blightfang Dragon x1 Cinder Dragon x1 Figure Case x3 Master Series Paint Set 2 x1 Expansion Set 1 x1 Expansion Set 2 x1 Troll Slayer Sophie x10 Basilisk x2 Dragons Don't Share x1 Thank You Set x1 Cadirith x1 Thank you, Ghent!
  2. Since the foam trays included with the Kickstarter cases don't seem to work well for the bones, what dimensions (and type) of pluck foam should I look for when creating my own? Bonus points for including where I can purchase the aforementioned pluck foam.
  3. Not sure you could really consider IE a 'little' issue, anyway.
  4. Sorry, no clue. My suggestion would be to hit the reset button and try again. Well, using Firefox. Tried the reset button, tried restarting the computer, and no luck. I sent off an email, but was hoping there was a quick fix. Still, I'm impressed that you're even answering on a Saturday now that KS is over.
  5. Just trying out the RPM, and I noticed that my credit doesn't match my pledge. It's off by $29.00. I understand that 25 is probably for Sophie, with the option to trade her in for more stuff, but what happened to the other $4.00?
  6. I have most of Fat Dragon Games' stuff, and the WWG huge, multideck pirate ship, but I'm not really sure what you're asking. Are you looking for someone to build and mail you a piece (or set) in exchange for you building and mailing something back?
  7. Sorry about the delayed response, Wren. I haven't tried any painting videos, to answer your question. I haven't done any painting (unless you count fences and buildings). It's just the way my brain is wired, I think. I'm not at all a visual person, so I tend to get overwhelmed by irrelevant details, miss the important things, and have very poor retention of what I do glean. I don't really watch TV or movies, either. On the other hand, I read very quickly with very good recall, assuming that I understand what I'm reading, anyway. So, video instructions would be very frustrating for me to try to use, and that's not counting the lack of equipment (I don't own a TV or DVD player, for example).
  8. Not sure, really. I'd been thinking up different concepts in my spare time, but I don't like to pin anything down until I have a better feel for the party.
  9. Very glad to see that the learn to paint kits are being revamped. I really wanted to get some with the Kickstarter, but understand it was beyond the scope of the project. I'm less glad about the switch from booklet to DVD, though. For a couple of reasons, I don't seem to get video instructions very well, and (well-written) printed instructions are much more helpful for me. If/when you guys make the switch, would you be willing to put the instructions in booklet form somewhere on your site (password protected even, if you wanted) so we could print them?
  10. Comments like that are not likely to encourage the thread to die out, you know.
  11. Right now, leaning towards an elven Christian Theurgist (Street Magic) or a troll physical adept. Some type of magic-user, anyway.
  12. Savage North does have the complete core rules. It also has a total of 8 factions, none of which appear in Warlord 2.0 Warlord 2.0 has the complete core rules + 10 factions which do not appear in Savage North. Warlord Rising, to the best of my knowledge, is a novel. You may wish to end up getting both Savage North and Warlord 2.0 at some point, depending on which factions you are interested in. There is also another faction of undead pirates that is only found online at Reaper's website.
  13. Newbie question. What, exactly do you mean by miniature exchange, or continuous mini exchange?
  14. Okay, that makes sense to me. My reading has suggested that a different sized brush is good for dry-brushing, which seems to be a good technique for beginners. Do you use your regular brush, detail brush or a different one for drybrushing?
  15. Thank you for such prompt responses. I think I should have been more specific, though. What sized brush(es) are most useful, especially at first?
