Now I'm going to have to paint at least one blue
-
kksimons: I sent your link off to a few people who I'm sure will be picking it up. One question I did have was how much you cover tense changes. I would think most spells would be present tense or future but not so much past.

I really like seeing the WIP threads off the paint kits. And it's nice to see it from more than one persons point of view.

Really like the colors on these. I can't wait to get them in bones!
-
Thanks for this one!

Hmm you didn't mention the blue psionic ones :).

Really have to work on my brush control! Have a figure with a necklace which I painted around and was wondering how I was going to do. Maybe I'll try it both ways. Trim like this right now makes me very jealous because I haven't gotten that far yet. Guess I better get going.

Rahl, Duke of Pain (slight modification)

I like the color composition of the whole model but really like the spots on the tail and the feet. I'm not sure why my eye catches on those things. -
Is gold trim like this normally done by drybrushing? (Feel really dumb asking that )

This is a pretty good acoustic version as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFVglhJzpCc

Gesso is that brushed on or sprayed? Hmm

Too bad it didn't take the paint.

I'd like to see what this looks like after you put a bit of paint on it.

Will these be metal or bones?

They seem to have covered that. "all donations are fed back into the machine and converted into free art" "- 50% toward production of rewards: The funds received for production of the rewards includes minimal labor costs, ensuring that even with a massive number of orders our hand-made products will be delivered on time. Local Chicago artists and artisans can quickly be employed to help with the timely production of your rewards." "To start, six locations around Chicago will be selected to host a free art wall." in addition Kickstarter itself will take a % People Kickstarting don't get free art for themselves they get free art for Chicago and funding for Chicago artists. The art going up in locations needs to be installed and shipping to those doing the supporting the Kickstarter needs to be done. This all would need money. If I lived in Chicago I would think of supporting something like this.

I'd like to see another shot of the sculpt with the shield correctly placed.

He said if he made it to number 1 on the billboard charts he would perform it topless.

i looked up free avatars and found it one one site cant remember anymore. Looks like it's just going to keep bugging me then
-
Exwilly, where is your avatar from I know I've had that picture before but I'm not sure if it was on a book cover or from some art I had from something. More talk about Kangnam style is on the Tv right now. Can't get away from it (edit: looks like he has a free outdoor concert in Seoul tonight)

Hmm, more Koean than what? The satire and comic styles are very Korean but you don't normally get them in Kpop. The comments of 'it's very Korean' and then 'it's not very Korean' may be dependent on how the person is looking at it. My wife (who is Korean) finds Kangnam style much different than what's out there for Korean pop. I don't pay attention to Kpop so I'm a bad one to judge in some ways but I've lived in Korea for about 15 years or so. I do get commentary from people though and most of what I hear is attention to what he is doing differently.
-
Yeah he is, it's interesting if you know his history as well. If you know Korea and Korean there are some little jokes here and there. edit: He is also nothing like a lot of the other Korean pop artists - he's not 20 or younger and does not look like a model..

Finally got to the RPM. Added 75$ to double my vampire. Oh and I did get the clockwork dragon!

This is what I've been told. Yes. Thanks, the reason I thought of this with the paints being shipped in March is that with the shipments divided I didn't think about customs being an issue at all. With everything in one shipment I'm slightly more concerned about it. Where I am anything under about 125US is not an issue. As long as there has been no change in the way things are being declared there is no problem. Not something I would want to be surprised with in March though.

I agree that this is deeply uncool however I'm about complained out given my other thread and more into being apathetic now. This seems like something that should have been figured out well before the Kickstarter ended. Things like the sculpt switch for the elves don't bother me because this seems like last minute hitch that could not have been anticipated. Right now I feel like I have more productive things I to think about. I won't be making a order for more bones though now because I won't have the paints to paint them until the Kickstarter bones arrive anyway at which point I will have a ton to paint. That said I do have a question before I go through the pledge manager. Can I get confirmation that nothing has changed in the way the order will be declared with customs. A Vampire pledge + international shipping + options = the base value of the vampire pledge (100$) and a double vampire will still be 100$
