  1. You would think in a hobby like RPGs that imagination would practically be a necessity, but I guess some folks just don't have it.
  2. That was when the Pathfinder minis hit and Paizo sent out a notice to about 200,000 people about this KS...
  3. Found some music to listen to while we wait... anyone else remember this song? "Digging up Bones" by Randy Travis, could be the theme song for this KS. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUEKtkskrbM&feature=related
  4. Nice! That gravedigger would be perfect for one of the PCs in our game, if the shovel were converted to a staff. The PC wears a brimmed hat and trenchcoat just like that.
  5. I may well be wrong, but I was under the impression that Bones came in 1 piece, no assembly required.
  6. I wanted to respond to this, even though I haven't said I'm "dragoned out", I understand the sentiment. I think (for me) it has more to do with the types of figures than the number of options. Dragons are cool, but they are a big set-piece monster that won't be used all that often, and after you have, say, 2, 3, or 4 of them, do you need a 5th or 6th? They tend to be fairly solitary creatures, so you won't need them all at once either. The giants tend to be in groups more often, so several of them make sense. Most of the others are 1 version and that's it... there aren't 5 different poses of undead giants or Ice Wyrms or Elementals, and there doesn't need to be. My point is that I don't think it's general option fatigue, but rather specific "dragon fatigue". Personally, I like some of the add-ons that are themed groups of smaller creatures, like the driders and "Mind Your Manors" better than some of the dragons because they will see more use, they are things I don't have or don't have too many of, and they aren't solitary creatures. And I plan to buy extra sets of things like the dark elves and fishmen as well as a couple dragons rather than buying all the dragons and just sticking with the 1 included set of creatures like that. But overall, great set of figures. This is the 1st time I've ever backed anything on Kickstarter, and I'd never bought Bones before this, but this was too good a deal to pass up!
  7. There's still plenty of time to fatten him up before Thanksgiving! ;) But cats are so stringy... It's all in how you cook them... low heat, many hours, and he'll be fork tender and juicy!

  9. Here's a question I haven't seen asked or answered yet: I know it's a little early to ask this, and this kickstarter is going to put a huge workload on the Reaper folks, but what happens next? Will the pace of Bones resume the 30 or so new minis per year pace? Will efforts be shifted over from other areas to increase the rate, given the apparent demand for Bones? Will there be another Kickstarter or some other means of juicing up production of Round 2? What would the fans want to see?
  10. We've had Elves and Dwarves, but not Halflings/Gnomes yet. I think I see 1 Halfling in the 30 new minis, but that's it. How about a few little folk?
