  1. Mine has been saying "Your pledge is processing" for like 22 minutes. :(
  2. I love love LOVE the witch. I'm happy there's a bit more diversity with the female characters this time around (and, IMO, all the characters in this set seem neater than the originals). I canceled my pledge for the first one but I'm definitely in for this one.
  3. Ugh, I'm so mad I missed this. I'm a huge Ghostbusters fan and would've jumped right on it. But as it stands, I probably won't even go for the game when it's released, since the KS-exclusives break it for me (Janine's my fave character, plus I'm sad about Gozer and the librarian ghost).
  4. Unless they wow me in the last few days, I'll probably pull out of this one. I haven't played Zombicide S1/2, but I've always thought it looked interesting. But a lot of the add-ons and stretch goals just aren't my cup of tea. I really don't need all those VIP zombies (Princess Leia zombie, really?), and none of the KS-exclusive survivors would be used in my gaming group (which consists mostly of female gamers who aren't interested in characters like Cat or the add-on "Dominatrix"). The only exclusive I really like is the female A-Bomb, but $90 + shipping for that is a bit excessive. And I know it's a luxury game, but $30 estimated retail for a set of tiles seems insane to me. I mean, I pay a lot for each individual Descent expansion that comes out, but I would never pay even more than $10 for some tiles.
  5. I don't think there's a thread for this... Anyways, Meeple Source has a fantastic "Character Meeples!" Kickstarter currently up, with 10 days to go! Really cute and great for games that use meeples. There are even meeples designed for specific games (Tiny Epic Kingdoms, Lords of Waterdeep, Pandemic, Agricola). But if you aren't into any of those, they have other great designs like the Oz characters, dragons, Cthulhu, etc. I'm personally dying for the Medusa meeple (which hasn't been unlocked just yet). Other favorites include the Centaur, Valkyrie, Undead, and Fairy. Check it out if you're interested: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1303699463/character-meeples
  6. I really want to back this game, as I really love the cute, chibi style they're using. But by god, some of the breasts on the female characters are insane. I mean, SDE had a little bit in that department, too, but it never really got out of hand. I don't know, maybe I'm just not the target audience for a game like that.
  7. The ones I'm most excited about: - The Chimera - Centaurs - Fairy - Sea Hag - Maab Grindylow - Goblin & Kobold Leaders (not getting them through KS, but will def be buying them in store) - Deva (also not getting through KS) - Lords of Darkness - Water Elementals
  8. I didn't get too too much: 2013 Core Set ($100) x1100.00 Under the Sea ($10) x110.00 Lords of Darkness ($10) x110.00 Water Elementals ($10) x110.00 Cinder Dragon ($10) x110.00
  9. God, I want that Marilith. :( I can't really reason out spending 20 on the THANK YOU! set, though, since the Marilith and maybe the Cloaker are the only ones I'd want from that
  10. That video was hilarious! And informative... I knew I liked bones for a reason. :)
  11. Are any of the ratfolk female? My friend plays as one, and she's been using one of the rats from the first bones kickstarter.
  12. I am so happy! I've been begging for a sea hag (or really, any type of hag) since the first bones KS. And now there's two! The kelpies are amazing too. Definitely something I'll be buying extras of.
  13. God, I was really trying not to get the Core Set Expansion, but... the goroloth, ice troll, cultists, and goblin/kobold leaders are calling out to me!
  14. That would certainly hike my pledge up.
  15. Yay, I love the Sylvan creatures! <3 They're my favorites so far. I'm still holding out for some hags or nagas! Also, is the guy on the top right a new sculpt or an existing one? I love his "come hither" pose. It tickles me.
  16. And please, for the love of heaven, let the female centaurs be sensibly clothed! Wait... what does sensibly-clothed entail on a centaur? I'm usually all for avoiding unnecessary sexualization of female minis, but the vast majority of interpretations of centaurs that I've seen have them all going around naked all the time. This seems like one of the most sensible opportunities for shirtless women. Especially if they aren't overtly sexualized, just naked. And preferably posed in such a way that indicates that they're ready for battle, not, uh, horseplay. I don't know, centaurs are known for being warrior-like. Most depictions I've seen are of male centaurs in armor. It would be fitting to have similar for females, though honestly I'd love a variety of centaurs (some warriors, some not).
  17. I see basically how most others see it -- PCs would be Fighters, Elves, Klocke Classics, Dwarves, Heroes, Bedevilled (for the most part-- though they double as enemies; marilith withstanding), Dark Elves (see Bedevilled), Iconics, Dark Heroes, Iconics II, Half-Sized Heroes. The BBEG and Necromancers are clearly evil, though obviously they could be used as PCs if the flavor fit. Pirates are similar, but more believable as "heroes." I don't count townsfolk as PCs (despite me using the "Grandmother" bone as my changeling witch character in Pathfinder). I'm also not including Chronoscope, Zombie Hunters, IMEF, etc. I'm in the camp of wanting to see more monster types, too. More PCs of course would be lovely, but we did get a great deal of them in the first batch, and really on average only about 4-6 PC minis are needed in a game, whereas monsters are plentiful.
  18. God, I can't wait! My boyfriend wants in on these this time too. I hope we'll still be able to afford rent after this. :)
  19. Were there supposed to be only two candelabras? I got three in mine.
  20. New Sculpts: Male Centaurs (there are some great female sculpts by Reaper, but the males are lacking) Mermaids and Mermen... there are a few nude female mermaids, maybe some armor-clad female merfolk? And definitely need some mermen, preferably attractive. Male humanoid heroes NOT using weapons, suitable for bards or oracles or whatnot. More hags... Annis Hags, Green Hags, Night Hags... for such a fantasy staple, they certainly are lacking in representation. Nagas. The one we have now (Marunma, Naga) isn't all that impressive, IMO. Sphinxes. Small Pixie-type hero bones, both male and female. More animals you'd find out in the wild: boars, crocodiles, panthers, etc. Metal to Bones Conversion: Jalinrix, Female Devil Nalani, Dancing Girl Ollamiel, Male Sea Elf Gweneth Ronamane, Female Centaur Chiral, Centaur Captain Pearl the Mermaid Mab Grindylow, Sea Hag Xanesha, Lamia Matriarch Angel of Radiance Achiah, Male Angel Incubus, Darkspawn Adept Chimera Nephal Shadow Prince Demon Drake Whiteraven, Young Mage Vanessa of the Blade Princess Elena
  21. I would love to see the Descent lieutenants in Bones plastic! Also, I'd like to see more weaponless characters... characters who are sorcerers/warlocks/witches/wizards who don't require weapons to battle. Particularly men... I don't think there are any male character in the KS bones that don't use a weapon (or aren't incredibly old/unattractive).
  22. Yay, I got my email! :) Hi there! We're shipping out your Kickstarter stuff! 23. I saw my city (Bradenton, FL)... I'm just hoping since it's a relatively obscure city, and I'm at 9... *crosses fingers* Does the city/state show up on the ticker before the email is sent?
  24. Oye, I'm obsessively watching the ticker. I'm at 9 items so I'm praying for an email soon. :)
