Thanks all! I've been using Reaper MSPs. I'm not quite sure what I did on the armor for the Minotaur. I think I varied how much I thinned my coats, but I'm not certain. I'm considering going back and giving him some nice definition on him, yeah. I do have a second of the same miniature, so I may leave this one untouched and have a visible progression from my first to later minis. -

Have some Other Stuff! I'm not as happy with any of it as the Troll, but that's okay! Starting with my FIRST EVER. I didn't notice some of the stray paint until after I took pics. Might touch him up, but I'm thinking of leaving my early ones untouched (Bones are nice and cheap and all) so that I can see a progression of skill! Next, I have a Sir Forscale. Not really happy with how he turned out, though. Finally, a kobold! First of six! Liking him better than Sir Forscale, but I intend to do a nicer ob on the other five. -
Huzzah, got enough side income already to up my pledge ten bucks. Expecting significantly more by the end of the month, but I'm not going to pledge anything I can't be sure about. Will probably get the Heroes and Villains option, the one with the huge bases. Those are GREAT looking minis, especially the guy with castle armor! I would absolutely go for that, assuming I could get the funds.

I will buy all Bones Kobolds forever. I love me some kobolds. On the other hand, I don't really need a Sophie, unless she could be traded in for add-ons like last time!

Thanks everyone! The warts are not, in fact, white--that's my camera at work. They're a pale green in reality. I mostly decided on that because I thought it'd look nice, made 'em stand out. -

Figured I'd toss this guy up, as I'm very happy with him. He's actually my second mini ever, after a Bones minotaur (I plan to do some more work on that one)! I have painted a few more since then, which I'll take pictures of later.- 16 replies

I think the KS is getting money plenty quickly at this point. It just looks slow because of the insanity that was Day 1. Kickstarters in general lag for much of their duration, I've noticed, picking up again towards the end.

A thousand times, this. I wish more people understood it this way. ~v Exactly the same here, too. With the added bonus that I like a lot of different types of game, and just enjoy painting for itself, so I can find a use for almost any mini.

TENGEN TOPPA GURREN VILLAIN! I can't wait for that guy. (The PF Villain with the giant face for a torso, for the uninitiated). There's so much more than the Core Set I want from this KS, but I'll probably have to wait for retail for most of it. :/ EDIT: Pingo, I super-support your post about female minis.
