  1. I want to use a spray on primer for some of my bigger bones figures. Does anyone know of something I should stay away from? I will probably experiment on some of the smaller ones first but I assume just about any acrylic spray primer would work. Unless you guys tell me otherwise. XD
  2. Looks fantastic. I love the base too. Definitely doesn't look like beginner's work.
  3. I just thought all the tabletop RPG fans would like to know about this one. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1212663429/table-titans-volume-1-first-encounters Still 15 days left and some great collectibles in some of the pledge levels and some really cool tier- add ons. Check it out if you like comics.
  4. Those bases look fantastic and I love the shield design on the cleric. Really great work.
  5. Love this. I'm looking forward to more pics of the WIP for that base.
  6. Are you using the figure finder? Theres a Bones sculpt that would be great for a tiefling rogue but you'd have to modify to make a mohawk. http://www.reapermini.com/FigureFinder#detail/77118
  7. Wow. The fire elemental looks great. I don't suppose you did a WIP? Would you care to share a little bit about your technique?
  8. Nice list. I never thought of damaged or status effect version.
  9. Looks great. Love the wings.
  10. Looks great. I love the damage on the helmet and chest plate.
  11. That is amazing. Really inspiring work. Thanks for sharing.
  12. Hey, Are those the Bones rats? I really like your idea of putting two on the same base.
  13. Looks awesome. I've always been a fan of this sculpt. Love the eyes!
  14. Wow. that Gatorman is both an awesome sculpt and a fantastic paint job. The weapons look incredible too.
  15. Wow. You've made some great progress so far. I really like the way the kobolds turned out too. I've been dreading starting mine.
  16. I bought a Roll N Store http://www.theshoppingchannel.com/Storage-Organization/Roll-N-Store/pages/productdetails?nav=R:509910 It can be a little rough on metal minis unless you add some padding but great for Bones so far!
  17. Thanks for the advice everyone. The weapon shaft is pretty tiny, I doubt I'd be able to drill into it. I'm going to try simply super glueing the shaft back together and hope for the best. If that doesn't work, I guess Im down to removing the weapon completely and drilling into the hand and mace head as suggested above but that seems a little daunting for me. I'm really just a beginner.
  18. I have a 02123: Christina The Devout primed and ready to paint but unfortunately, through bad luck or carelessness (not saying which) her weapon broke off. I'm looking for some advice on repairing or replacing it. I have no sculpting or modding experience.
  19. I love the base too. Is it sculpy and static grass?
  20. Looks good to me. I like your colour choices for the elemental.
  21. I am using 1" x 1" slate backsplash tiles left over from a recent kitchen renovation. Bones adhere well to them with a little super glue. They have a nice weight to them and they were fairly cheap. I found them on clearance at Lowes for about $5 per sheet or about 30 cents per tile. Really nice option in my opinion. I haven't taken any pics of my Bones on the bases yet but you can get an idea of the result here. http://www.reapermini.com/forum/index.php?/topic/49120-heros-quest-chaos-warrior/
  22. Hirst Arts has some really nice molds. http://www.hirstarts.com/molds/moldsvill.html I've never used any so I cant say how good/bad easy/difficult they are to use but they do look really nice.
  23. Wow. an ambitious project to say the least. I look forward to seeing more.
