Hope everyone who went to ReaperCon had a blast! The Mrs and I had a great time visiting family in Alaska. Went ATVing, got muddy, spent time with the nieces and nephews, went to the state fair, and saw some amazing scenery.

Trying to get a new dell laptop’s integrated camera to work. Been troubleshooting it for an hour. I’m thinking it’s a physical connection as the laptop isn’t even seeing it. There’s not enough coffee for this!

As many of you know, I’ve not been around in quite a while… So even though this post is over 1.5 years old, it’s news to me. I considered Jay a great friend and am very saddened to hear of his passing to the great mini kingdom in the sky. I fondly remember welcoming him to this great forum when he was a newbie painter and taking him under my wing to help him learn the craft; his gusto for life, minis, and learning were unrivaled. We had many great discussions and fun times here. I’ll greatly miss him and his exuberant love-filled posts. RIP my friend, ub3r 😔

*flashes his... skull mug* Don't make me try to get your striped fur for my loincloth again... Nope, didn’t see that. I did order a couple of busts from Banshee (the amazing painter/sculptor) a few weeks ago. They arrived from Spain over this past weekend. The anonymous busts 1.0 and 2.0. He’s actually running a contest to paint 2.0 and do conversions on it. I may pick up my dusty brushes for this purpose.
