  1. I want the arms of the frost wyrm, in particular. I think I dould have some fun with a few of those spare.
  2. These will give me sleepless nights...
  3. I think it's a combination of the camera and the sealer , it has no shine in person.
  4. 77004: Cave Troll Citadel: knarloc green, camo green, cathlan brown, thraka green, devlan mud MSP: ruddy leather, oiled leather, linen white, sun yellow P3: jack bone Please excuse the poor photography. This was painted for skin practice, it's my first attempt at trying more advanced techniques. I had a lot of fun with this one, and I think I'll be painting another in the near future. Thanks for viewing!
  5. I just received my shipping notice, heading to Melbourne, AU.
  6. Oh I love this. I think the staff is my favourite. Fantastic name too!!

I'd definitely like to try adding a semi-gloss, that's a great idea. :) I may just buy more of these!
  8. I was lucky enough to stumble across this model in a store a few weeks ago. Always loved it. I was worried I wouldn't see it until it showed up in the Bones line. It's painted for tabletop use. I hadn't done dry brushing in a while so you can see some of the brush strokes... I'll probably be stripping this later on and repainting it, but thought I'd post it just because I adore the model. :)
  9. I'm in the same boat for this as you are! So I'll be watching this thread. XD
  10. His eyes are staring into my souuuullll.. o_o
  11. Before judging it I'd much recommend watching the 4 min video, ya? I think it's neat.
  12. I love the webbing on the wings. :)
  13. I'm also looking forward to Rosie, but I haven't decided if I want to get the wrench or not.
  14. I put a brush in my water pot that I had been using PVA glue with. It took me a few days to figure out why my recently painted miniatures had a strange shine. After reading these posts I'm glad that I haven't done anything worse. :D
  15. On The Table season 5 just ended, but if you subscribe to Geek & Sundry on youtube you'll see season 6 when it starts. The Beasts of War channel still has some good stuff though.
  16. If I were playing a video game and this showed up as ore from a mining node, I'd probably pronounce it Bo NE si um, as the OP has. However, as the pretext for bonesium is the bones plastic, it feels like Bones-ee-um is more appropriate.
  17. I don't get it... you want it in white but then say it's a shame to paint over it, when you aren't really happy with it anyway. If you aren't interested in using it why don't you just undercoat it white, rather than hope for a factory white, I don't seeeee the diff. It seems nit picky. And the "selling point" as you put it is to be able to use it straight out of the packet, whether you intend to or not. You can paint it or leave it, it reaches both audiences. Games like Castle Ravenloft come with blue translucent miniatures for things like wraiths. They're probably also good for people who use pre-painted plastics.
