  1. The shrub with the thorns and red flowers is probably a Japonica (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaenomeles) The one with the pray of yellow flowers may be a Laburnum (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laburnum#:~:text=Laburnum%2C sometimes called golden chain, and Laburnum alpinum—alpine laburnum.)
  2. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/impactminiatures/battle-village-lets-get-medieval-in-here/description You've got a 3d printer? What a coincidence, I have one too. Receive 40 AWESOME stl files. And guess what? They're also pre-supported and tested. What's even better? THEY'RE ALL DONE. You get these the day the funds come through. YOWZA. We just checked shipping rates today with all carries to find the most affordable (Date April 16, 2022). We round all shipping costs down to try and keep them as low as possible. Shipping rates for physical rewards will be: USA: $6, Canada: $19, Europe $28 and Rest of the world: $33 Tom at Impact! always runs a good KS and has sucessfully delivered many of the so if you interested jump in with confidence
  3. Well this has delivered (warning to those in the UK some pledgers are being asked for VAT by UPS which they shouldn't be doing, CMON is saying pay and they'll refund you and aren't yet sure why it's happening, luckily it seems to be only a few poor sods who are effected) Looks decent enough, but more breakages that i've had in a CMON project before, all seem to have been 'in factory' as the missing bits aren't in the boxes which are undamaged. (I guess this may be a consequence of Covid work conditions with folk having to rush or doing jobs they normally don't to get stuff done) i normally don't like merging expansions into the main boxes, but man there are a lot of boxes with a lot of wasted space here (and a whole load of different shaped boxes too which is frustrating to try and store
  4. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1520354196/osmoticmeld?ref=user_menu Osmoticmeld is an experiment! It is a collaborative partnership between the renowned artist Ian Miller and [John Robertson], and was born of a serendipitous meeting over social media many moons ago. I must also extend special thanks to both Sebastian Czarnecki and David Pauwels, they have been incredibly generous with their time in giving advice, support and guidance: Seb’s also designed our website and David’s done some fabulous work with his hair sticks! I've been following these on facebook for what seems like ages as they've been sculpted and am impresses with how close they are to the Ian Miller artwork that inspired them
  5. I know the feeling with Hamilton's Antia Blake series, I enjoyed the early ones which were fun urban fantasy (and better than most), but I folded at Obsidian Butterfly although i've picked up a few of the later books when i could get them really cheap and kind of want to know what happens i've never really felt the desire to read them as i fear i know what they'll be like
  6. Titch got a new crochet blanket today (in support of the local cat rescue), so so says she's having a good time snoozing, but thanks Brutus for the offer (i'm having a good time providing the lap she's snoozing on)
  7. Ravage was a french gaming/boardgame magazine that CMON published/distributed an english language version of (not 100% sure if the editions were identical or whether only some of the content was brought over, and other US articles were substituted) might be worth trying the CMON forum to see if anybody there can check through back issues for you (or point you to a legal digital archive if one exists) http://www.coolminiornot.com/forums/
  8. She did an interview with the digital Figure Painter Magazine issue 15, you should be able to find it online as they put all 51 issues up free to download when the magazine closed (well worth reading the rest as well) their facebook page still has the dropbox link https://www.facebook.com/FigurePainterMagazine she's also got 3 figures up on Putty and Paint https://www.puttyandpaint.com/jenhaley Sadly it seems she wasn't terribly well just prior to covid https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-jen-treat-chronic-pain

  10. Had my booster a few weeks back (pfizer after pfizer), no reaction at all this time not even the sore arm for a couple of days the previous ones gave be glad when they have more of an idea whether Omicron is similar in severity (or better or worse) as the south african data is from a population that's just too disimilar age wise to the uk (and also vaccination status) to really tell.
  11. Now Live https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/russrmc/animal-adventures-the-faraway-sea/description if you signed up for the newsetter for your free GM screen and back all in you'd have ended up with 2 screens, so they'll give you an extra set of dice instead (much more useful). If you back at core level (which doesn't come with the screen) you'll get the screen as originally planned
  12. Thank you backers ... as we go into the final day of the project we unlocked Stretch Goal #7 and have added the Bat Winged Sorcerer and the Owl Cleric for free as digital models to the project! 14 free models have now been unlocked. We only need 9 more full digital set backers to unlock the last 2 stretch goals so if you have any spots to recruit those last 9 backers we need to unlock everything that would be greatly appreciated! For the last day ... wanted to share with you one last video showing Celia converting a stretch goal model from 3-D Scan to 3-D ready to print digital STL. Celia Miniatures assistance on this project was greatly appreciated. https://youtu.be/V8g08hbyztI I am hoping tomorrow I can post an update announcing that we unlocked all the stretch goals for the digital set backers! Tom @ Impact!
  13. If you facebook check Painting Polygons for a link to get a free GM screen for signing up to their newsletter 'SPECIAL OFFER! FREE GM SCREEN Sign up to our pre-campaign newsletter (link below) using the same email as you use for your Kickstarter account, and back the Kickstarter at ‘Core Pledge’ or higher and we’ll include a free GM screen in your pledge!' (or PM me if you don't, i can't post it as it links to the SFG website which is commercial so not allowed on here)
  14. unlocked next Thank you backers as we not only funded yesterday but we also reached the first stretch goal! The first stretch goal added the Songbird Bard with Lyre digital model to the Sword Legion and the Songbird Archer digital model to the Tooth Guild for free. I wanted to better explain the daily reveals. Every day a new model will be shown as a Stretch Goal. The Stretch Goal is only for the digital set to receive the model for free. If the Stretch Goal amount is not reached to make the digital model free for a set, the model will still be made and is available to buy as a digital file for $3 or a physical model for the price shown. 2 of the Physical rewards will automatically include all Stretch Goal models as well whether reached or not. We are only $53 from adding 2 more models for free to the digital sets! If you can take the time to share the project on social media that will be an incredible help to breaking more stretch goals to add more free digital models to the sets. Tom @ Impact!
  15. The Project This is our 14th Chibi miniatures project! 7 years ago Andrew May of Meridian Miniatures launched the Tooth & Sword line of Chibi miniatures. The models were hand sculpted and were a line of chibi that I loved ever since I saw them. A couple years ago Meridian discontinued selling the entire product line. Fast forward to today and Impact! was able to negotiate a purchase agreement for the entire line of Tooth & Sword chibi to bring them back to everyone that missed a chance to own them. However technology improvements have allowed Impact! to 3-D scan all these hand sculpted models and now offer them as high quality digital models for you to print at home as well as remastered physical models as good as the originals. The 3-D scans also allowed for new versions of the Tooth & Sword models to be offered as Stretch Goals! We want your feedback, so please leave comments. We plan to engage our backers and would love ideas for other variants that you think need to be stretch goals. The Miniatures The digital models will be sent as STL one piece models within a month of the project ending. All of the one piece models will be sent in both no supports AND supported formats. In addition, if you want the models will be available as physical one piece 3-D prints as well in super high quality resin prints. Prints will be grey and will come with bases (as many are not free standing models). MODELS WILL NOT BE PAINTED! The normal models will be roughly 30mm to top of the models head. This may vary slightly from model to model. There is also a Hippogriff model that will be a bonus model if you get all the miniatures which is 50mm in size. link https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/impactminiatures/chibi-tooth-and-sword-digital-stl-and-physical-miniatures
  16. Signed up for this one when it launches, the book was a fun read and very well produced so worth having even if i was more interested in the minis
  17. second dose of pfizer went well, no sore arm this time, but next day i found i'd a fair amount of muscle weakness in it as i couldn't hold the hedge trimmer high enough to do the top of the hedge after about 5 mins. I'll take that over the fever and chills some seem to get
